The “Shirotan Funwari Store” will open for a limited time at Sapporo Underground Mall Aurora Town starting Saturday, September 19, 2026! This is the first pop-up store of its kind in Hokkaido, featuring a collection of items including a series exclusive to Hokkaido stores. Customers who spend 3,300 yen (tax included) or more on Shirotan merchandise will receive a limited-edition sticker, and those who spend 5,500 yen (tax included) or more will receive a limited-edition pin.
Danganronpa
A 1/7-scale figure of “Kaede Akamatsu” from *New Danganronpa V3* will be re-released in May 2027! The base is inspired by the “punishment” scene!
January 2027
A collaborative event between the anime “Bungo Stray Dogs” and the Osamu Dazai Memorial Museum “Shayokan” will be held in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, from January through spring 2027. Planned events include a special exhibition in the rice storehouse within Shayōkan, a stamp rally visiting sites associated with Osamu Dazai, and newly recorded voice messages by Mamoru Miyano, who voices Osamu Dazai.
Dragon Quest
The Osaka leg of the Dragon Quest 40th Anniversary Exhibition, “Dragon Quest the DIVE—Toward the Stage of Unseen Adventures,” has been confirmed. Visitors can experience the immersive attraction “VR RIDE” at Grand Front Osaka from Tuesday, January 26, 2027, through Sunday, March 14, 2027!
October 2026
A pop-up store for the horror game “Poppy Playtime” will be held at all eight Toys“R”Us and Babies“R”Us locations from Friday, September 18, 2026, through Sunday, October 18, 2026!
The event will take place at the Sapporo, Asahikawa, Fujimi, Kinshicho, Tachikawa Tachihi, Namba Parks, Kyoto Ekimae, and Hakata Marui locations. During the event period, the first 300 customers at each store who purchase Poppy Playtime-related merchandise totaling 2,000 yen or more (including tax) will receive a special postcard.
Breath
The TV anime adaptation of Yuki Sonoyama’s *Breath* will begin airing nationwide on Fuji TV’s “Noitamina” block starting in January 2027. Tomotaka Ohno has been cast as Aia Udagawa, and Chiyuki Miura as Jun Sumizaki. Two character promotional videos, featuring teaser visuals and scenes from the series, have been released.

“STAR WARS STORE by BENELIC,” Japan’s first permanent “Star Wars” official store, will open on Thursday, October 1, 2026, on the 6th floor of the Ikebukuro PARCO Main Building. It will also open at LUCUA South in Osaka sometime in November!
Freiren of the Funeral Procession
A [Season 2 Highlight Screening Event] commemorating the third anniversary of the TV anime “Freiren: The Funeral” will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at nine theaters nationwide. Eight carefully selected episodes from Season 2 will be screened, and at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya, there will also be a stage greeting featuring Atsumi Tanezaki and four other cast members!

The “Pretty Cure All Stars: Pretty Cure Assort 2026” Gashapon capsule toy series will be available at capsule vending machines nationwide starting in the fifth week of September 2026. The collaboration between *IdentityV: The Fifth Personality* and the City of Yokohama, titled “The Fifth Personality: Asian Championship Support Festival in Yokohama!,” will take place starting September 19, 2026.
