Additional dates have been announced for Sanrio’s major shopping event, “HELLO KITTY’S SWEETS MARKET -Chocolate lovers-”!

Starting September 18, 2026, at the Daimaru Umeda Store (Osaka) , starting October 22 at Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro (Tokyo), and starting November 18 at Daimaru Sapporo (Hokkaido), featuring event-exclusive products designed with a chocolate theme!

Details of “HELLO KITTY’S SWEETS MARKET -Chocolate lovers-”

“HELLO KITTY’S SWEETS MARKET -Chocolate lovers-,” a large-scale Sanrio character shopping event, will be held sequentially at the Daimaru Umeda Store, Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro Branch, and Daimaru Sapporo Store!

Centered around Hello Kitty, the event will feature items from My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Choco Cat, and Lullaby Lovables. The lineup will feature over 2,000 items, with a focus on limited-edition products designed around the theme of chocolate.

Special events to enhance the shopping experience—including venue decorations and purchase incentives—are also planned.

Schedule and Hours by Venue

The newly announced additional events will take place at three venues: Osaka, Tokyo, and Hokkaido. Admission is free at all locations, and the events will be held daily without closing during the exhibition period.

At the Daimaru Umeda Store, admission restrictions or the distribution of numbered tickets may be implemented depending on crowd conditions.

Lineup of Event-Exclusive Products

Event-exclusive merchandise featuring characters dressed in chocolate-colored outfits is now available! The lineup includes a wide range of items across various categories, such as plush toys, stationery, bags, and pouches.

New items include an insulated lunch tote and a two-compartment tote bag featuring designs on a pink-striped background, as well as a clear 3-pocket pouch!

There are 7 types of ballpoint pens with character charms, and 330 types of “Name Charamp” items where you can have your name added.

Lullaby Lovables Limited Edition Items

Lullaby Lovables merchandise featuring Winky Winkle and a teddy bear will also be available. There are two types of mascots in the lineup, including Winky Winkle!

In addition to stationery items such as clear file folders, notepads, and letter sets, drawstring pouches and water-absorbent coasters containing white cloudstone will also be available!

Osaka Venue Exclusive & Pre-sale Items

At the Daimaru Umeda Store, Osaka venue-exclusive products—available only at this location—and items available for early release will be offered.

The two Osaka venue-exclusive items are a canvas pouch and an absorbent coaster containing dolomite. Additionally, eight varieties of the chocolate-colored “Mascot Choco” , an insulated lunch tote, a two-compartment tote bag, a clear 3-pocket pouch, a bi-fold pass case, and an apron will be available for pre-release at the Osaka venue.

Additionally, the Daimaru Sapporo Store will carry canvas pouches and water-absorbent coasters containing dolomite that are exclusive to the Sapporo venue.

Purchase Benefits

At the Daimaru Umeda store, during the event period, customers who spend 5,500 yen or more (tax included) per transaction will receive one original ruler on a first-come, first-served basis. At the Daimaru Sapporo store, customers who spend 5,500 yen or more (tax included) per transaction at each eligible sales floor will receive one original mini ruler on a first-come, first-served basis; with the design varying by sales floor.

Supplies are limited for all items, and the promotion will end once they are gone. When using coupons or discount vouchers, the eligible amount is the price after the discount has been applied; receipts cannot be combined.
