UNDERTALE’s first exhibition, “UNDERTALE MUSEUM,” opens on February 19, 2027!
“UNDERTALE MUSEUM,” the first-ever exhibition for the globally beloved role-playing game “UNDERTALE,” will be held.
The Tokyo venue will run from Friday, February 19, 2027, through Wednesday, March 10, at Exhibition Hall A in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro. The Osaka venue will be held from Thursday, April 22, 2027, through Sunday, May 9, 2027, at the Osaka Nanko ATC Gallery. The event is organized by the UNDERTALE MUSEUM Executive Committee, with cooperation from Hachinoyon (8-4) and Fangamer.
The key visual, released on September 3, 2026, was created exclusively for this exhibition by Temmie Chang. The composition features the main characters gathered around a picture frame; set against a background divided into black and white, they are depicted in poses that showcase their individual personalities—such as reading a book, raising a spear, holding a guitar, and holding a camera—all arranged in poses that highlight their individual personalities.
UNDERTALE MUSEUM is supervised by Toby Fox
This exhibition is supervised by Toby Fox, the developer of “UNDERTALE.” A space has been created where visitors can relive the game’s world, and the exhibition is designed to offer an immersive experience as if stepping into the game’s world while touring its settings.
A comment from Toby Fox has been published on the official website, in which he mentions that he personally made many suggestions to ensure visitors have an experience true to *UNDERTALE*, and hints that the “dog hair” he donated might be on display. Further details about the exhibition are pending, and it is noted that some content may differ between the Tokyo and Osaka venues.
Information regarding merchandise and sales has not yet been released. It has been confirmed that there will be a special gift distributed to all visitors, as well as a purchase bonus given to those who spend a certain amount or more at the venue; details on these will also be announced at a later date.
