From the TV anime “Puella Magi Madoka Magica,” Fukuya’s palm-sized plush toys, “Kapukko Friends 2,” are coming to capsule toys. A total of four varieties—QB, the Rose Garden Witch’s minions, and the Candy Witch (pre-transformation and post-transformation)—will be released sequentially starting around mid-October 2026!

Naomi Tamura’s “Yuzurenai Negai,” which served as the opening theme for the 1994 version of the TV anime *Magic Knight Rayearth*, has been selected as the insert song for Episode 1 of the new series. Along with a comment from Naomi Tamura, the song is now available for digital download for the first time—30 years after its 1994 release!
The second main visual from *Chikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island* has been unveiled, featuring Chikawa and the islanders Hitoha and Futaba gazing at each other by the light of a campfire. The third and fourth rounds of theater-goer giveaways—which sold out quickly—and the sixth round, set to begin distribution on October 10, will be re-released later this year!
From Nintendo’s “Super Mario” series, the capsule toy “Tock-Tock Yoshi”—in which Yoshi starts walking when you wind the spring—will go on sale at capsule vending machines nationwide starting the week of October 13, 2026. There are six colorful varieties in total, including Red Yoshi and Pink Yoshi!
The capsule toy series “Let’s All Become Teeth! – Teeth – 2,” featuring Sanrio characters transformed into teeth, will go on sale at capsule vending machines nationwide starting in October 2026. In this second installment, which comes with a gum-shaped base, Pochacco and Kuromi make their debut as teeth, and Hello Kitty even appears in a “silver” tooth version!
A “Ichiban Kuji” capsule toy series based on Disney/Pixar’s *Monsters, Inc.* will go on sale starting October 17, 2026, at FamilyMart and other locations. The lineup includes figures depicting the scene from the door warehouse featuring Sulley, Mike, and Boo, as well as an energy tank-shaped coin bank that emits a scream!
The “Let’s Make It Happen!! Cheer Screening” of *Chikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island*—featuring automated penlight effects—will be held for three consecutive days from October 16 to 18, 2026, at seven TOHO Cinemas locations across five prefectures nationwide. This is a screening where audience members can cheer along using special glow sticks that change color in sync with the film. It is an expansion of the “Glow Stick Cheer Screening,” which was held just once on September 23, to a three-day event.
A new collection featuring Sanrio’s popular character “Pompompurin” in collaboration with Avail has been released, showcasing a laid-back, relaxing image of Pompompurin. Starting on Saturday, October 10—known as “Futon Day”—bedding, accessories, and apparel will be available at Avail stores and on the official online store, “Shimamura Park”!
A collaboration between Shiro Manta, the manga artist behind *The Story of a Junior Annoyed by Their Senior*, and Latte Pocket has been announced. Starting October 20, 2026, the Harajuku location will feature three types of collaborative 3D latte art and four limited-edition collaboration merchandise items. Plus, customers who order latte art will receive a free sticker!
The Halloween collaboration between “Identity V” and Marion Crepe will take place from October 9 to October 31, 2026, at 21 locations nationwide, featuring two limited-edition crepes (1,200 yen each) inspired by Survivors and Hunters. We’ll introduce six original merchandise items featuring newly drawn artwork, as well as purchase bonuses such as stickers and clear cards, and standee panels at seven participating stores.
The “GiGO Collaboration Café: QuizKnock 10th Anniversary,” celebrating the 10th anniversary of the intellectual entertainment group “QuizKnock,” will be held from September 12 to November 1, 2026. The café will feature drinks curated by the members and food items exclusive to the Ikebukuro location!

A collaboration café featuring the character “Ocha-Inu,” which is celebrating its 24th anniversary, and “Aomi Coffee” will be held from Thursday, October 1, 2026, through Sunday, November 1, 2026. Collaboration drinks will be served and collaboration merchandise will be sold at all nine locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto!
