“GUNDAM-Con 2027 SIDE MAKUHARI,” a celebration event marking the 50th anniversary of the Gundam series, will be held at Makuhari Messe Halls 1–3 starting Saturday, January 9, 2027. Admission is by advance lottery, and applications for the second round of the lottery are being accepted until 11:59 PM on Monday, October 12, 2026.

A collaboration between “Girls & Panzer: It’s a More Love-Love Operation!” and the British-style pub HUB will take place at four locations nationwide starting Friday, October 16, 2026. Nine collaboration menu items and merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of the characters dressed as bartenders will be available, and customers will receive one coaster for every menu item ordered.
Pop-up Store
A pop-up shop commemorating the 20th anniversary of the “To LOVE-Ru” serialization will be held at the IP Bookstore on the 6th floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA starting Thursday, October 8, 2026. Merchandise featuring 14 newly drawn illustrations by Kentaro Yabuki will be available, and autograph sessions with Mr. Yabuki and Ms. Saki Hasemi, as well as figures of Momo, Beria, and Deviluke, have also been announced.

A collaboration between the “Urban Legend Debunking Center” and Karaoke Tetsujin will take place at 10 locations nationwide starting Thursday, October 8, 2026. Merchandise featuring original illustrations by artist Natsuki, based on the “Angels and Demons” concept, will be available for pre-sale, and themed rooms and collaboration drinks will also be introduced.

A collaboration campaign between the Japanese drum rhythm game “Taiko no Tatsujin” and Calbee’s “Jagariko” will begin on October 5, 2026. In addition to being able to collect all four types of collaboration mascots by playing new songs in the arcade version of the game, limited-edition packaging and a giveaway campaign on X will also be available!
Original Art Exhibition / Exhibition
“Manga: Made in Abyss,” the first-ever exhibition of reproduction original artwork for “Made in Abyss,” will be held at the Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store Book Hall starting Saturday, October 24, 2026. Along with this announcement, the first wave of merchandise has been unveiled, featuring 11 items based on the original manga—such as comic charms and mini-character acrylic blocks—and 10 anime-themed items.

A collaboration campaign between the TV anime “Ranma ½” and the Yokohama-style ramen chain Ikakuya will take place starting Friday, October 16, 2026, at 10 locations in Tokyo and elsewhere. Four types of collaboration ramen inspired by the characters and four types of Calpis juice will be available, and customers will receive one of 16 different coasters with each order.
Pop-up Store
A pop-up store celebrating the 10th anniversary of “Saiki Kusuo’s Ψ-Trouble” will be held on the 5th floor of MAGNET by SHIBUYA109 from Friday, October 16, 2026, through Sunday, October 25, 2026. Items such as acrylic stands and B2 tapestries featuring newly drawn illustrations of the protagonist playing with a cat will be available, and customers will receive a bonus postcard for every 2,000 yen spent.
Collaboration Café
A pop-up store and pop-up café for “Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgis Night” will open at the Tree Village Tokyo location starting Saturday, October 17, 2026. The Osaka and Hakata locations will open on Saturday, December 5, featuring newly illustrated amusement park-themed merchandise and collaboration food items.

The “Theater Series [Part 1]: Made in Abyss: The Awakening Mystery” collaboration campaign with Round One, titled “Winter Fluffy and Cozy Days,” will be held at Round One locations nationwide from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, through Monday, January 11, 2027. The event will feature collaboration merchandise and capsule toys showcasing newly drawn “fluffy and soft” character designs, a total of five types of collaboration drinks, and a B4-sized visual mat available with the purchase of a collaboration pack.

It has been announced that “Chiikawa Bakery mini,” the fourth domestic location of the “Chiikawa” permanent bakery chain “Chiikawa Bakery,” will open in winter 2026 at Daimaru Tokyo, which is directly connected to Tokyo Station. Details such as the opening date and product lineup will be announced in due course.

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of “Odekake Ko-Zame,” the series’ first-ever exhibition, “Odekake Ko-Zame Exhibition: Omotenashi SEA Tour,” will be held at the Hanshin Umeda Main Store in Osaka starting December 27. In addition to displays of 3D models, concept art, and behind-the-scenes footage, merchandise featuring visuals created exclusively for the exhibition will also be available!

Collaboration Café
To commemorate the first anniversary of NARUMIYA HAPPY PARK, the Narumiya Characters-themed café “NARUMIYA CHARACTERS Lovely Stand” will open for a limited time starting October 16, 2026, in Shinjuku, Tokyo (Lumine Est Shinjuku), and in Umeda, Osaka (KITTE Osaka) starting October 29. The cafe will feature a menu inspired by Mimirī-chan, Berie-chan, and the new characters Ripan-chan and Wanpī-chan, as well as cafe-exclusive, newly illustrated merchandise. Reservations will be accepted starting at 6:00 PM on October 2.

From “Machikado Mazoku,” the “Mikan Birthday 2026 POP UP SHOP,” celebrating Mikan’s birthday on November 3, will be held at MEDICOS SHOP Shinjuku from October 30 to November 10, 2026! All five types of “Connecting Acrylic Charms” from the TV anime “Ao no Hako” will be released sequentially starting October 7, 2026, exclusively at Aeon Fantasy’s cashless capsule toy machine “Kapuebo.” The five designs—Daiki Inomata, Chinatsu Kano, Hina Chono, Tadashi Kasahara, and Shobu Moriya—are available for 390 yen (tax included) per play. You can connect your favorite characters together, and a social media campaign is currently underway where you can win a complete set.
Pop-up Store
A pop-up shop for the anime “Hetalia World★Stars” will be held at MEDICOS SHOP Shibuya starting October 31, 2026, and at Abeno Rakubas starting December 4! Under the theme of “Autumn Parade,” the event will feature new merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of the characters in autumn-themed outfits, along with the distribution of special gifts and a panel exhibition. Post-event online sales via the MEDICOS ONLINE SHOP are also planned.
Following the 2023 and 2025 events, the third collaboration café between the anime “The Apothecary’s Tale” and Sweets Paradise has been announced. Starting October 30, 2026, the event will be held sequentially at seven locations nationwide, including the SoLaDo Harajuku branch, and newly drawn illustrations of Momo and Jin dressed in autumn-themed outfits have also been unveiled!

A collaboration café for the TV anime *Forgotten Battery*, based on the baseball manga by Eiko Mikawa currently serialized in *Shonen Jump+*, will be held at all three “Shareri CAFE” locations—Harajuku, Shinsaibashi, and Nagoya—starting December 25, 2026. Here, we’ll introduce the details of the five newly drawn illustrations—inspired by a lunch break on a rooftop—as well as the event dates, operating hours for each location, and the online sales period for merchandise.

A collaboration café titled “PASTEL POP PARFAIT,” a joint project between the anime “Hetalia World★Stars”—based on the original work by Hidekazu Himaruya featuring anthropomorphic characters representing various countries—and mixx garden, will be held at the Ikebukuro and Osaka Nipponbashi locations from November 13 to December 13, 2026. The event will feature newly illustrated chibi characters wearing pastel-colored visors and holding parfait spoons, and will operate on a reservation-only basis every day.

The collaboration café “Tokyo Revengers Café in E-DINER -Bar Bonten-,” based on the hit TV anime “Tokyo Revengers” adapted from the manga by Ken Wakui, will be held at the E-DINER Ikebukuro Main Store from October 20 to November 8, 2026. Here, we’ll introduce collaboration food and drinks inspired by the eight members of Bonten, special coaster giveaways, a lottery exclusive to dine-in customers, 12 merchandise items also available at E-Ani in Osaka, and the days when reservations are required for dine-in seating.

To commemorate the “Rilakkuma Certification 2027” exam—based on San-X’s popular character “Rilakkuma”—a “Rilakkuma Book Fair” will be held at 12 bookstores nationwide, Additionally, “Rilakkuma Book Cafés” will open sequentially starting November 13, 2026, at Unomachi Coffee Shop in Okayama and Vicky’s in Iwate. Here, we’ll introduce the collaboration menu items—such as honey toast and donuts—along with their prices, promotional stickers, BOOK FAIR-exclusive merchandise, and a list of participating bookstores.

The third collaboration between “Narushio”—a game developed and operated by KURO GAMES—and Animate’s “Gratte,” titled “Resonate with Gratte: Halloween ~Narushio x Gratte Part 3~,” will be held from October 30 to November 29, 2026, at participating Animate stores nationwide. We’ll introduce a selection of 16 types of lattes, cookies, and ice cream; Halloween-themed designs available exclusively on October 30 and 31; paid bonus acrylic coasters; a clear file campaign; commemorative merchandise; and a life-size standee panel at the Animate Ikebukuro Main Store.

Here’s a look at the merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of the characters dressed as diner staff, as well as order-bonus coasters and character-themed seating areas.

An exhibition of original artwork from the acclaimed manga *Mushishi* by Yuki Urushibara, depicting the journeys of Ginko, the *Mushishi* who bridges the world of insects and humans To coincide with the “Mushishi Exhibition: Tokyo Triumphant Return / FINAL,” a collaboration menu will be available from October 31 to November 30, 2026, at the café attached to Gallery Zenon in Kichijoji. Five items inspired by famous episodes from the series will be available, including “Green Seat,” a Japanese-style matcha pancake modeled after Hikari-sake, and “Heavy Fruit,” reminiscent of a bountiful harvest of “Narazu Berries.”

A mini-exhibition titled “Kazunari Taira Photo Exhibition,” based on Yuu Nagira’s novel *Beautiful Him*, will be held at the Azabudai Hills Gallery Space starting November 21. The event—which is free to enter—will feature merchandise featuring original illustrations by Hitoshi Kitano, sales of original-design cans, and a display of rough sketches!

An exhibition commemorating the 55th anniversary of Kamen Rider will be held at Yomiuri Land’s Good Job!! Space starting Saturday, November 21, 2026. In addition to standing figures of all 37 Kamen Riders from Kamen Rider No. 1 to Mice, as well as props used in filming, the exhibition will also feature a Kamen Rider making its debut at this event!

The main visual for the “Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray” Original Art Exhibition, which opens in Ikebukuro on December 19, has been unveiled, featuring 13 Uma Musume characters illustrated exclusively by Taiyo Kusumi. Advance tickets will go on sale on Eplus starting at 6:00 PM on October 26, and tickets that come with a special replica ticket will also be available!

A special exhibition for the original TV anime “Girls Band Cry (GaruKura),” presented by Toei Animation, will be held at Anime Tokyo Station in Ikebukuro from November 14, 2026, to January 31, 2027, with free admission. Here, we’ll introduce the exhibition’s highlights—including life-size acrylic stands, a scene recreation corner, a display of past live concert posters and CDs, a photo spot where you can dress up as Nana Izeri, and AR experience content—as well as the museum’s closing days.

An exhibition of original artwork from the manga *The Summer the Light Died*—serialized by Mokumoku Ren in *Young Ace UP* and concluded with its final chapter released on October 20, 2026—is set to be held in Tokyo in the summer of 2027. An official X account for the exhibition has also been launched. Here, we’ll introduce the details announced so far, along with how this exhibition differs from the “The Summer the Light Died” anime exhibition held in 2025.

The first pop-up store for the short anime "Matsuken Anime: Can I Punish This?"—starring Ken Matsudaira—will open at the Tokyo Anime Center on October 30, 2026.
