Saka Mikami, “Fragrant Flowers Bloom with Dignity”: Synopsis (Recap) of the Previous Volume, Volume 24

Synopsis of the Previous Volume (Details on the Previous Volume, Vol. 24)

Professor Toki’s hidden past has been revealed.
His regret and self-reproach over failing to protect his former student, Matsukasa, were the reasons behind the deep rift between Kikyo and Chidori.
However, Rintaro and the others’ sincere feelings move the hearts of the teachers at both schools.

“I hope this will serve as the foundation for a new relationship between Chidori and Kikyo.”

A “breach” has been opened in the closed history between the two schools.
Signs of a new exchange begin to sprout—.

Amidst this, Kaoruko and the other Kikyo students also visit Ms. Toki.
Their conversation isn’t about settling the past, but about looking toward the future.
Ms. Toki smiles gently at the students’ growth.
It seems she has something she wants to discuss with Kaoruko alone—

Introduction to Saka Mikami’s “Fragrant Flowers Bloom with Dignity”

In a certain town, there are two high schools located right next to each other.
Chidori High School, a low-ranking boys’ school full of idiots, and Kikyo Girls’ High School, a prestigious school for young ladies.
Rintaro Tsumugi, a tough-looking yet quiet second-year student at Chidori High, meets a girl named Kaoruko Waguri while helping out at his family’s cake shop—she had come in as a customer.
Rintaro finds himself enjoying his time with Kaoruko, but she is a student at Kikyo Girls’ High who thoroughly despises Chidori…!?

A vibrant school story of youth, woven by two people who are “close yet far apart”!!
