Details on the “Chiikawa Christmas Market”
The “Chiikawa Christmas Market,” an interactive event where visitors can enjoy the world of Nagano-sensei’s “Chiikawa,” will be held from November 24 to December 25, 2026, at Toyosuna Park (in front of AEON Mall Makuhari Shintoshin) in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture.
The approximately 6, 000 square meters, the venue will feature a symbolic Christmas tree, photo spots, a limited-edition food market, merchandise sales, customization workshops, and mini-games.

At the venue entrance, a wreath-style welcome gate shaped like Chikawa greets visitors. Next to the gate is a giant pop-up-style Christmas card featuring the main visual!

A massive Christmas tree, approximately 6 meters tall, takes center stage at the venue!
An original story featuring the Chikawa characters as they prepare for Christmas unfolds as a special production combining lights, visuals, and sound, allowing visitors to enjoy sparkling illuminations and effects that make it look like snow is falling. The tree will be lit from around 4:00 PM until closing time.

In addition to the symbolic tree, giant balloons of Chikawa, Hachiware, and the Rabbit—each standing about 3 meters tall—have made their debut!
Christmas-themed photo spots will be set up throughout the venue, including one featuring Chikawa, Hachiware, and the Rabbit inside a snow globe as they prepare a Bûche de Noël, and a moving carousel depicting Chikawa, Hachiware, and the Rabbit enjoying a ride.
Please note that the carousel is not a ride but a photo spot for viewing and taking pictures.
In addition, a “Souvenir Gift” booth will be available where you can spin a giant capsule toy machine to win a souvenir! You get one free spin per ticket.

The venue will feature interactive games such as “Candy Ring Toss,” where you throw candy rings to decorate a Christmas tree, and the “Cookie Weighing Challenge,” where you memorize the correct weight and aim to select a cookie of the same weight!
If you complete a game, you’ll receive a die-cut cushion; even if you fail, you’ll get a random rubber keychain as a participation prize. Prizes are limited in quantity and will be available while supplies last.

This event operates on a time-slot ticket system, with prices varying by weekday, weekend, and holiday. Children under 4 years old do not require a ticket, limited to one child per adult.

As ticket giveaways, you’ll receive Bonus 1: a “Pop-Up Christmas Card” and Bonus 2: an “Ornament from a Gachapon Machine.” You’ll receive one random ornament from a total of 16 designs.
The ornament designs will vary depending on the visit period; all 8 varieties will be available during the first half (November 24–December 9)! The second half runs from December 10 to December 25.

Tickets will be sold on the ticketing website “Asoview!” The application period for the advance lottery runs from October 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM to October 25 at 11:59 PM, and the results will be announced on or after October 30 at 12:00 PM.
Each account may submit one application for up to four people, and you may apply up to five times; however, even if you apply multiple times, you will only be selected for one slot. Applications are accepted via lottery, not on a first-come, first-served basis. Cancellations or date/time changes after purchase will not be accepted for any reason.
To purchase tickets, you must have a smartphone capable of accessing the “Asoview!” website or official app. Since a smartphone is also required for some activities on the day of the event, you will not be admitted if you do not have one.

“Chiikawa Christmas Market” Venue & Access
The venue is Toyosuna Park (in front of AEON Mall Makuhari Shintoshin) in Mihama Ward, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from “Makuhari-Toyosuna Station” on the JR Keiyo Line, about a 1-minute walk from the “Toyosuna Park” stop on the Keisei Bus, and about a 7-minute walk from the “AEON Mall Makuhari Shintoshin Family Mall” stop on the Keisei Bus.
It takes about 35 minutes to reach Makuhari Toyosuna Station from Tokyo Station without transferring. Since crowds are expected, the organizers recommend using public transportation to get there.
