Junji Ito POP-UP SHOP “Gaze” Opens in 3 Cities Starting September 18!

“Junji Ito POP-UP SHOP ‘Manazashi’,” a pop-up shop featuring original merchandise based on illustrations from the works of horror manga artist Junji Ito, will be held on a rotating basis starting Friday, September 18, 2026, at three locations: Tower Records Shibuya, Abeno Hoop, and Fukuoka Parco—starting Friday, September 18, 2026!
The event will feature apparel and collectibles based on masterpieces such as “Tomie,” “The Handsome Boy at the Crossroads,” and “The Hanging Balloon,” and the venue will include a mirrored area where countless “eyes” of Tomie cover an entire wall, as well as photo spots.

The TV Anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends” Animate Fair 2026 will be held from Saturday, September 12, 2026, through Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Animate stores nationwide and on the Animate online store. Newly drawn merchandise based on the “exorcist” theme—including trading pin badges, illustration cards, and acrylic stands—will be available for pre-release purchase. For every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on character goods, customers will receive a fair purchase bonus: a set of “postcards” (6 varieties total).

A pop-up shop themed around the “ugly sweaters” from the TV anime “Haikyu!!” will be held at three locations in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Hyogo, starting at Yurakucho Marui on Friday, October 2, 2026. The shop will feature “ugly sweaters” (17,600 yen each) featuring newly drawn artwork of Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Tetsuro Kuroo, Kenma Kozume, Kotaro Kito, and Kyojji Akashi, as well as various other merchandise and trading goods.

The TV anime *Sergeant Keroro☆* will begin airing on the TV Tokyo network and other stations starting October 3!

The TV anime “Sergeant Keroro☆,” based on the manga by Kannon Yoshizaki, will begin airing on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. on the TV Tokyo network of six stations. Makoto Koichi will voice Sergeant Keroro, and ahead of the broadcast, a special preview screening of Episodes 1 and 2 will be held at United Cinemas Toyosu on Saturday, September 26.

To celebrate the announcement of the fourth season (Final Season) of the TV anime “My Favorite Child,” a collaboration café is being held at the Nakasa restaurant in Arima Onsen from September 5 to October 18, 2026. A total of 16 collaboration menu items are available, including “Ai’s Extra Special Rice Bowl” and “All-Out Cheers for Arima Kana!! Glow Stick Rice Bowl.” Customers who order will receive picks, straw tags, and coasters, and 12 types of original merchandise will also be on sale.

In addition to a lengthy interview with Kazuki Kawada, who handled the visual and concept design, and a fashion shoot feature by Hidetaka Kano, merchandise featuring the newly drawn illustrations is also planned.

The key visual for the TV anime *Hotaru no Yomeiri*, based on the manga by Tachibana Orekō, has been unveiled, and it has been confirmed that the series will begin airing on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 11:30 p.m. on the Fuji TV network’s Noitamina block nationwide. Lynn will voice Satoko Kirigaya, Koki Uchiyama will voice Shinpei Goto, Kento Ito will voice Kotaro Ogawa, and Kenjiro Tsuda will voice Saegusa.
