Details on the “Futari no Kemono POP UP STORE”
A pop-up store for “Futari no Kemono”—which depicts the shared life of Shinosaki, a deer expelled from her herd, and Minase, a wolf who was also driven from his pack—will be held at a special venue on the 6th-floor Art & Culture Floor of Shibuya Loft.
Artist Mikage Michelangelo has created special, original illustrations depicting the pair’s daily lives, themed around “mushrooms” and “wild strawberries.” In addition to merchandise featuring these original illustrations, items designed with book covers and illustrations posted on social media will be on sale, and large panels of the two characters will also be on display at the venue!
The event is currently running at Umeda Loft through October 28, and after Shibuya Loft, it is scheduled to tour to the Miraiya Bookstore Hamamatsu Ichino and Natori branches.
Merchandise featuring original illustrations available for pre-sale
At the venue, a total of 17 items will be available for pre-sale, including acrylic dioramas featuring the two characters, matching acrylic keychains, and a mini cushion of Shinosaki.
Many of the items come in two designs: “Mushroom” and “Raspberry.” The lineup includes a clear file set—available in two versions: one featuring the covers of Volume 1 and Vol. 2, as well as a set of stickers (8 varieties total) featuring illustrations from social media! The lineup also includes apparel such as a Shinosaki-embroidered sweatshirt and a Minase T-shirt with a vintage-style print.
