Kodansha has announced that “Sanrio Characters: A Book Full of Chubby Stickers” will be released on October 7, 2026! The book features a generous collection of 54 plump, soft, three-dimensional stickers featuring Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Happy Danbui, and will be priced at 1,650 yen (tax included).

New items from Sanrio’s “Hanamaru Obake” line will go on sale starting October 3, 2026, at Shimamura stores nationwide and on the official online store, “Shimamura Park”! In addition to accessories and apparel such as bags, pouches, socks, and lounge pants, the collection will also feature home decor items like die-cut cushions, blankets, and mattress pads!
Pop-up Store
The “Studio UG × Sanrio Characters” pop-up shop—a collaboration between the characters from “Studio UG,” illustrated by Yuji Nishimura, and Sanrio Characters—will be held at Ikebukuro Sukima Store starting October 14, 2026! Exclusively at the Ikebukuro Sukima Store—located in the underground central passageway of JR Ikebukuro Station, in front of the Central Ticket Gate—a limited-time selection of newly illustrated collaboration merchandise, including pin badges, wobbling acrylic stands, and ball-chain plush toys, will be available through October 27.
Pop-up Store
The “Hello Kitty POP-UP STORE × Munyu Gurumi Patio” event will be held from October 13 to October 26, 2026, at the event space in front of the South Ticket Gate at JR Ikebukuro Station! Hours of operation are from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the store opening at 1:00 p.m. on the first day and closing at 6:00 p.m. on the final day. Merchandise featuring Sanrio’s popular characters “Bad Batsumaru” and “Hello Kitty” will go on sale at Avail starting October 3, 2026, and will also be available on the online store starting at 12:00 p.m. on the same day. The Bad Batsumaru lineup includes 18 items, such as bags, charms, and storage accessories, while the Hello Kitty lineup features three styles of women’s pullovers. Benelic’s capsule toy series, “Sanrio Characters Mini Plastic Cup Charms,” will hit capsule toy vending machine sections nationwide starting in January 2027! The lineup features five types of palm-sized plastic cup-shaped charms, each measuring approximately 20 × 28 mm and featuring designs of Hello Kitty, My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Little Twin Stars, available for 300 yen (tax included) per play.

Honeys has released its “Sanrio Characters Color Sweatshirts,” which are now available at Honeys stores and will go on sale at the official Honeys online shop starting at 10:00 a.m. on October 20, 2026! The collection features six designs: Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Hangyodon, Sugar Bunnies, Usahana, and Hello Kitty. Each sweatshirt features colors inspired by the respective character and a logo print on the back. The price is 2,980 yen (tax included) per item, and sizes range from SS to 3L.

Sanrio’s original “Pick-Your-Own Sticker Book & Stickers” set will go on sale starting September 28, 2026, at Sanrio-owned stores, Sanrio corners in department stores, and other locations! This set, priced at 1,100 yen, features a nostalgic Heisei-era design and lets you choose one sticker album from a total of eight varieties, plus one sticker from each of the three types: hologram, aurora, and puffy!
