Ricorico Poncho Style POP UP at Marui Starts November 14!

The “POP UP SHOP in Marui” for the TV anime “Licorice Recoil” is coming!

The event will be held sequentially at Shinjuku Marui Men starting November 14, 2026, and at Machida Modie starting December 4, featuring a wide range of merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations based on the “poncho style” concept, available for pre-release purchase.

Details on the “Licorice Recoil POP-UP SHOP at Marui”

A POP-UP SHOP for the TV anime “Licorice Recoil” will be held sequentially at two locations: Shinjuku Marui Men and Machida Modie. In addition to the pre-release sale of merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations, the event will include a raffle for purchasers and an exhibition of standee panels.

Newly Commissioned “Poncho Style” Illustration

This event features newly drawn illustrations based on the “Poncho Style” concept. In addition to these illustrations, the lineup includes a wide variety of merchandise featuring chibi character designs.

Venue and Hours

The first venue is the Shinjuku Marui Men 8F Event Space, where the event will be held from November 14 to November 23. Hours are 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Next, the event will be held at the Machida Moddy 4F Event Space from December 4 to December 13. Hours of operation are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Since the hours at both venues differ from the stores’ regular business hours, please check the official website before visiting.

Information regarding lines and sold-out items will be posted on “Shinjuku Marui Anime Event Official X (@marui_shinjuku)” for Shinjuku Marui Men and on “Marui Anime Limited-Time Shop Official X (@marui_limited_a)” for Machida Moddy.

Reservations and Admission

At Shinjuku Marui Men, a very large number of visitors is expected; therefore, admission during certain time slots on the first day, November 14, will be by advance reservation (lottery) via the LINE app. The first round of advance reservations (lottery) applies to the 11:10–14:30 admission slots, and applications will be accepted from 12: 00 on November 3 until 23:59 on November 8. Winners will be announced around 18:00 on November 9.

To apply, you must add the “Marui no Anime Event” official LINE account as a friend. Applications are limited to one per person, and only one person may enter per digital ticket; companions are not permitted to enter. Transferring or reselling digital tickets is prohibited.

After obtaining your digital ticket, please check your status under “My Tickets” on the reservation page, regardless of whether you received a notification. The designated meeting time is 10 minutes before your admission time; visitors are asked to refrain from arriving or lining up before this time. You must display your digital ticket upon entry; screenshots are not valid.

During admission restrictions, purchases are limited to one transaction per person; splitting transactions, rejoining the checkout line, or re-entering the venue are not permitted. Digital numbered tickets are for admission purposes only and do not guarantee the purchase of merchandise.

On November 14, open admission is scheduled to begin around 3:00 PM, and from November 15 onward, open admission is scheduled to begin at opening time. Depending on crowd conditions, organized entry or the distribution of numbered tickets may be implemented.

Admission procedures for Machida Modii will be announced at a later date.

Merchandise for “Licorice Recoil POP UP SHOP in Marui”

A total of 17 merchandise items featuring newly drawn illustrations and chibi character designs will be available for pre-release purchase at the venue. All items are scheduled to be available later on the “AMNIBUS” e-commerce site and at Animate.

Trading Goods & Acrylic Stands

Four types of random-selection trading goods will be available: glitter pin badges, Cheki prints, postcards, and acrylic mini-blocks! As long as the box remains unopened, you can collect the full set with just one box.

The acrylic stands feature newly drawn illustrations in BIG and extra-large sizes, as well as a BIG acrylic stand depicting Chizuka Nishikigi and Takina Inoue side by side.

Purchase Raffle

At the event shop, a no-lose purchase raffle will be held for customers who purchase 3,000 yen or more (tax included) in related merchandise.

Prizes include Prize A: “Canvas Boards (3 varieties)”; Prize B: “Bromides (15 varieties) Complete Set,” and Prize C is “1 Random Bromide (15 Varieties).” For Prize A, you can choose your favorite design on a first-come, first-served basis.
