Gintama: Seasonal Flowers and Plants POP-UP SHOP at TSUTAYA—Opening October 2!

A *Gintama* TSUTAYA POP UP SHOP is set to open at Kyoto IP Bookstore on Friday, October 2, 2026! New merchandise—including acrylic stands, clear files, and folding screen-style color paper—featuring brand-new illustrations themed around seasonal flowers and plants will be available. Additionally, a purchase bonus will be offered: for every 2,200 yen (tax included) spent on eligible items, customers will receive a random limited-edition bromide (7 varieties total). Starting in Kyoto, the event will roll out sequentially at all four venues: SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, Fukuoka Tenjin Tsutaya Bookstore, and TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Noritake Shinmachi.

“It Doesn’t Show Up” POP-UP SHOP at Kinokuniya Bookstore on November 18!

The “It Doesn’t Show Up POP-UP SHOP at Kinokuniya Bookstore,” based on the popular manga *It Doesn’t Show Up* by Kono Shima Ruka, will be held at the Kinokuniya Bookstore Shinjuku Main Store from November 18 to December 13, 2026. This event commemorates the release of a new volume and will feature a wide range of new merchandise featuring color illustrations and panel art from the manga. Additionally, a “Shirana-i-nandesu In-Store Campaign” will be held simultaneously at all 10 Kinokuniya Bookstore locations.

Chiikawa × GU Knitwear and Loungewear: On Sale Starting November 20!

Collaboration items featuring the popular character “Chiikawa” and GU are scheduled to go on sale in two separate releases: Friday, November 20, 2026, and Friday, November 27, 2026. Under the theme “Let’s have fun even on cold, snowy days!”, the first release will feature knitwear and other outfits for going out, while the second release will feature loungewear!

Detective Conan Diner: Permanent Location in Shibuya—Opening Winter 2026!

“Detective Conan Diner,” a permanent restaurant based on the TV anime “Detective Conan,” is scheduled to have its grand opening on the 4th floor of Shibuya Stream in the winter of 2026. This restaurant, commemorating the show’s 30th anniversary, will feature food inspired by Conan and Ran, as well as character plush toys shaped like bread!

“Horimiya CAFE: Katagiri High School Culture Festival” Starts October 14 in Ikebukuro!

The “Horimiya” 15th Anniversary Collaboration Cafe, “Horimiya CAFE: Katagiri High School Culture Festival,” will be held at the motto cafe Ikebukuro location starting October 14, 2026. Details have been released regarding all 16 food, dessert, and drink items that will be served during the first half of the Tokyo event, as well as the takeout menu, special perks, and pre-release merchandise.

“Panda Kopanda” Exhibition at Nagoya PARCO Starts December 12!

An interactive exhibition featuring the animated masterpiece *Panda! Panda!* by Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki will be held at PARCO HALL on the 8th floor of the West Wing of Nagoya PARCO from December 12, 2026, through January 31, 2027. The exhibition will feature an area recreating the dining room in Mimiko’s house and a photo spot inspired by the “Rainy Day Circus.” Advance tickets are currently on sale for 1,400 yen (tax included) for general admission.
