A pop-up corner for the TV anime “I May Be a Flawed Villainess, But… ~The Tale of Hinamiya Chōnezumi~” will be held at the Kinokuniya Bookstore Ikebukuro Branch from October 26 to November 8, 2026! New merchandise featuring original yukata-themed illustrations and retro art will be on sale, and for every 2,200 yen (tax included) spent, customers will receive one random postcard from a set of seven.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of Dick Bruna’s birth and the 100th anniversary of Kinokuniya Bookstore’s founding, the “Dick Bruna Birth Anniversary & Kinokuniya’s 100th Anniversary Book & Collaboration Goods Fair” will be held starting November 12, 2026, at all Kinokuniya Group stores in Japan and on their online store! Collaboration merchandise will be available, including Miffy and Boris mascot keychains dressed as bookstore clerks, embroidered book covers, Staedtler mechanical pencils in Bruna’s signature colors, and Black Bear book pouches. Original shopping bags will also be provided as a special gift to customers who purchase picture books and related titles.

The “It Doesn’t Show Up POP-UP SHOP at Kinokuniya Bookstore,” based on the popular manga *It Doesn’t Show Up* by Kono Shima Ruka, will be held at the Kinokuniya Bookstore Shinjuku Main Store from November 18 to December 13, 2026. This event commemorates the release of a new volume and will feature a wide range of new merchandise featuring color illustrations and panel art from the manga. Additionally, a “Shirana-i-nandesu In-Store Campaign” will be held simultaneously at all 10 Kinokuniya Bookstore locations.

To commemorate the anime broadcast of CLAMP’s *Magic Knight Rayearth*, the cover art from the early 1990s tankōbon editions is being reprinted as a full-length obi strip. Animeイト, Kinokuniya Bookstore, and Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore are also running a purchase promotion where customers can receive visual boards and illustration cards!
