The “TSUTAYA POP UP SHOP” for the TV anime “Aono Hako” is set to open at TSUTAYA locations nationwide starting October 30, 2026! Merchandise such as acrylic stands and slim tapestries featuring newly drawn illustrations of Chika Kano, Hina Chono, and Shobu Moriya in retro, autumn-inspired outfits themed around cream soda will be available. For every 2,200 yen (tax included) spent on eligible merchandise, customers will receive one randomly selected postcard (3 varieties total).

Gakumasu Ribaraba! 2: 7mm-Thick Rubber Mascots Now Available in Gashapon!

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released “Ribara-ba! 2,” a deluxe rubber mascot approximately 7 mm thick, from its idol-training game “Gakuen Idolmaster” (Gakumasu) via Gashapon. There are six varieties in total—China Kuramoto, Hiroshi Shinozawa, Lilia Katsuragi, Seika Shion, Mao Arimura, and Rina Himezaki—and the design allows you to enjoy the idols from two different angles.

The first event for Monchhichi’s twin babies, “Babychichi”—titled “Cute! Cute! Babychichi”—will be held at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store starting October 28, 2026, and at the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store starting October 29! Event-exclusive items—such as icing cookies in trunk-shaped tins and oversized teacups—will be available for purchase only at the venues. There will also be special days featuring purchase-with-gift promotions and visits from the Baby Chitch characters.

Girls Band Cry × Rakukuya: Collaboration Starts October 26!

A collaboration between the TV anime *Girls Band Cry* and “Rakukuya,” a hot spring facility operated by Chugai Mining, will take place at 12 locations nationwide from October 26 to November 29, 2026. In addition to the sale of merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of the five characters in their bathrobes after a soak and stickers given as a special gift upon entry, there will also be a “Music Löyly” event where visitors can enjoy the music of Togenashi Togeari.

In the “Double Chance” campaign—which allows customers to enter by making a purchase at any Animate location nationwide (including online orders)—two winners will be selected by lottery to receive a set of two newly illustrated acrylic stands.
