“Cute! Cute! Bebichichi,” the first event featuring “Bebichichi”—the twin babies of Monchhichi-kun and Monchhichi-chan—is coming to Osaka and Tokyo!
The event will be held at the 9th-floor event hall in the Wing Building of the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store starting October 28, 2026, and at the 6th-floor event hall of the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store starting October 29. It will feature sales of event-exclusive merchandise, gifts with purchase, and special days when the Baby Chitch twins come to play.

Details on “Cute! Cute! Baby Chichi”
“Baby Chichi” are twin boy and girl characters. With their tiny, adorable expressions that evoke a sense of nostalgia, Baby Chichi’s first event, “Cute! Cute! Baby Chichi,” will be held in two cities: Osaka and Tokyo.
The venues will feature a wide selection of merchandise, including event-exclusive items, as well as photo spots! This marks the first time the event is being held in the Kansai region (Osaka) and the Kanto region (Tokyo), and it is scheduled to tour department stores nationwide in the future.

At the Osaka venue, Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store, the event will be held from October 28 to November 9, 2026, in the event hall on the 9th floor of the Wing Building. Hours are from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM; on the final day, the event closes at 3:00 PM.
At the Tokyo venue, Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, the event will be held from October 29 to November 3, 2026, in the 6th-floor event hall. Hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; on the final day, the venue closes at 5:00 PM, and visitors are advised to use the elevator after 6:30 PM. Admission is free at both venues.

Event-exclusive items available only at the venue will be on sale! One standout item is the “Oversized Teacup,” which holds 400 mL and can be used not only for tea but also for soup and salad.
For sweets, the lineup includes three types where the containers can be reused after the treats are gone: “Icing Biscuits in a Trunk-Shaped Can” (which comes in a trunk-shaped tin), strawberry chocolate crunch in a drawstring pouch, and strawberry candy in a mini pouch.
The lineup also includes the “Color-Changing Tumbler with Straw,” which changes color when you pour a cold drink into it; the “Slide Mirror,” a compact size that’s convenient for carrying around; and two types of “Vinyl Pouches” and “Decorative Tape.”

At both venues, customers who make a single purchase of 3,300 yen or more (including tax) during the event period will receive one “Original Acrylic Fan (designs change daily; 2 types total).” This offer is limited to the first 50 customers each day at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store and the first 200 customers each day at the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, with a limit of one item per person per day. Designs cannot be selected, receipts cannot be combined, and the offer ends when supplies run out.
At the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, from October 30 through November 3, the first 2,000 customers who make a single purchase of 2,200 yen or more (including tax) at the venue and present a coupon from the Daimaru/Matsuzakaya app will receive one “original sticker.” This offer is not valid on October 29, the first day of the event, and is limited to one per person.
The Baby Chitchs Are Coming to Play!
During the event, there will be special days when the Baby Chitchs come to play at the venue! Participation is free for all sessions, and each session lasts 15 minutes.
At the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, the event will be held twice—at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM—on October 30, the birthday of Baby-Chichi-kun and Baby-Chichi-chan, on the 8th-floor rooftop stage. In case of rain, the event will be held in the Event Hall on the 6th floor. At the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store, the event will take place twice—at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM on November 3—inside the “Cute! Cute! Baby Chichi” venue on the 9th floor of the Wing Building.

Admission Procedures for Matsuzakaya Ueno Store
At the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store, admission restrictions will be in place to alleviate crowding inside the venue. In the morning, admission will be on a first-come, first-served reservation basis, with four 30-minute time slots from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Reservations will be accepted for 60 people per slot each day. Reservations will open on October 20 at 10:00 a.m., with details to be announced on the Daimaru and Matsuzakaya exhibition page.
In the afternoon, admission will be on a same-day numbered ticket basis; details on how the tickets will be distributed will be announced at a later date on the Matsuzakaya Ueno Store website.
