“Honey Lemon Soda” Series Finale Exhibition at Seibu Shibuya: A Report from the Event!

The “Honey Lemon Soda: Completion Commemorative Exhibition,” celebrating the conclusion of Mayu Murata’s popular coming-of-age romance “Honey Lemon Soda,” is is currently being held to great acclaim at the event space on the 4th floor of Building B at Seibu Shibuya starting Friday, September 11, 2026!

In addition to seven interactive zones where visitors can follow the story as students of Yamitsu High School, the venue features exhibits of reproduction original artwork, photo spots, and limited-edition merchandise .

Details of the “Honey Lemon Soda: Commemorative Exhibition Marking the Series’ Conclusion”

“Honey Lemon Soda” is a coming-of-age romance story that was serialized in “Ribon” (Shueisha) for approximately 10 and a half years starting in 2015. To commemorate its conclusion, the “Honey Lemon Soda: Commemorative Exhibition” is currently on display at the event space on the 4th floor of Building B at Seibu Shibuya until Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Under the theme “As many memories as there are, so many youth,” The exhibition is organized into seven zones that trace the story’s journey—from its beginning, through Hanaka’s inner struggles, her high school days at Yamitsu High, all the way to the finale.

With a display of original artwork, interactive visitor activities, and photo spots, you can fully immerse yourself in the youth that Hanaka, Kai, and the others lived through!

Exhibition Report: “Honey Lemon Soda” Series Finale Commemorative Exhibition

From here on, we’ll take you through the exhibition in the order we actually toured the venue!

ZONE 0: “The Entrance to the Story”

Just past the entrance gate to the venue on the 4th floor of Seibu Shibuya Building B, you’ll find the school gate of Yamitsu High School!

Panels featuring comments from author Mayu Murata and character profiles adorn the walls, alongside cherry blossom decorations that evoke the atmosphere of an entrance ceremony.

ZONE 1: “Hana’s Inner Conflict”

As you step into the dimly lit space, words symbolizing the inner conflict Hana has been grappling with appear before your eyes.

In the back, a desk and chair stand alone, and there is an interactive exhibit where visitors can write their thoughts on sticky notes under the theme, “What did you want to say but couldn’t?”

The panels from the original manga spread across an entire wall, and the words “Help me,” spread across an entire wall, convey Hana’s sense of suffocation.

ZONE 2: “Change and Growth”

We follow how Hanaka’s world gradually changes as she meets Kai.

Kai’s words—such as “Your happiness has already begun” and “You’re a gem”— are displayed prominently on the walls, allowing you to relive those heart-stirring moments alongside the visual effect of dancing feathers.

ZONE 3: “Youth at Yamitsu High School”

A recreated cultural festival space, decorated with chalkboard art, balloons, and garlands, spreads out before you.

Tables and chairs are set up, so you can actually sit down and take photos.

In addition, framed reproductions of the original artwork are displayed around the area, alongside panels featuring panels from the original manga.

There’s even a photo spot where you can recreate a scene from the series and take a commemorative photo next to Kai while sipping lemon soda!

ZONE4 “The Moment Feelings Are Conveyed”

A set designed with a lectern and stage recreates Kai’s memorable confession scene!

“I’m now Miura-kun’s girlfriend. ” Along with a lineup of iconic lines presented in yellow speech bubbles, this display traces the moment their relationship took a turn.

ZONE 5: “Everyone’s Love Stories and Choices”

A zone that looks back on the characters’ relationships and love stories through original artwork and graphics.

In the visitor-participation event “Top 10 Favorite Scenes from Kai,” you can choose your favorite scene, receive a sticker, and stick it on a cup displayed on the wall to cast your vote.

There’s also a “Which Side Are You On?” VS panel, and the zone is packed with interactive features that let fans chat with one another!

ZONE6 “As many memories as there are, so many youth.”

The finale area, named after the exhibition’s theme, features numerous color original illustrations!

At the blackboard display asking, “What is your fondest school memory?”, visitors can write their own messages right there on the spot.

At the time of our visit, messages from the first day were already starting to pile up, and it looks set to get even livelier as the exhibition progresses. This is an area where you’ll discover new joys with every repeat visit.

From photo spots featuring life-size panels decorated with balloons to large-scale visuals—there’s plenty to see right up until the very end!

Merchandise from the “Honey Lemon Soda: Complete Series Commemorative Exhibition”

The merchandise area features a wide variety of items featuring illustrations drawn specifically for this exhibition.

In addition to the original illustrations, framed reproductions of the beautiful color illustrations that graced the magazine are also available for purchase.

The lineup includes a total of 25 items, ranging from collectible items like acrylic charms, pin badges, and Cheki-style cards to mugs, tote bags, T-shirts, and even perfume and foil-stamped clear autograph cards!

At the venue entrance, each visitor will receive one “Random Card” (10 varieties total).

In addition, first-time visitors will receive one “Original Profile Book Sheet” and one “Original Leaflet” designed to look like a school guide.

The leaflet is titled “Kanagawa Prefectural Yamitsu High School School Guide,” and when you pass through the school , allowing you to experience what it’s like to enroll at Yamitsu High School!

Additionally, repeat visitors who present their first admission ticket stub will receive an “exclusively drawn mini-shikishi-style card,” and visitors on weekdays will receive one of seven different “bookmarks” .

Furthermore, for every 3,000 yen (tax included) spent on venue merchandise, you’ll receive one “Purikura-style sticker” (7 varieties total)!

Admission is by reserved date and time slot for certain dates and time periods; for all other times, admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Both advance and same-day tickets are available through Ticket Pia, and same-day tickets can also be purchased at the special .
