Chotora Pop-Up Store at Miraiya Bookstore Starts September 17!

Original merchandise from the drama and manga adaptation of “Wait a Minute, Harutora-kun” by Amekiri—currently available at the pop-up store at the Manga Exhibition—is now available at Miraiya Bookstore!

The merchandise will be available at 20 stores nationwide from September 17 to October 7, 2026, and six of those stores will also feature standee displays of Iki Kishida (played by Tsubasa Nakagawa) and Harutora Kurobe (played by Masaya Sakuragi).

“Wait a Minute, Harutora-kun” Pop-Up Merchandise Arrives at Miraiya Bookstore

The “Drama & Original Work Pop-Up Store at Manga Exhibition” is currently being held to commemorate the live-action drama adaptation of the coming-of-age BL manga “Wait a Minute, Harutora-kun” by Amekiri. It has been announced that the first batch of original pop-up merchandise will also be sold at 20 Miraiya Bookstore locations nationwide.

The sales period runs from September 17 to October 7, 2026. Standees will also be on display at select stores.

The event will be held at 20 locations nationwide

The campaign will be held at 20 Miraiya Bookstore locations nationwide, stretching from Miyagi Prefecture in the north to Okinawa Prefecture in the south. Only the Tendo branch in Yamagata Prefecture is scheduled to begin on September 19, 2026. Additionally, standee panels will be displayed at the six stores marked with a ★.

Standing panels are also on display at 6 locations

Standing panels featuring Iki Kishida (played by Tsubasa Nakagawa) and Harutora Kurobe (played by Masaya Sakuragi) will be on display at six locations: Uesugi in Sendai, Tendo, Makuhari Shintoshin, Itabashi, Ichino in Hamamatsu, and Suzaka.

These panels feature the same design as those on display at the Manga Exhibition in Shibuya and the Manga Exhibition in Tennoji. It has been announced that the start dates for the displays may vary slightly, as they will go on display as soon as they are delivered to each venue.

First Series of Original Pop-Up Store Merchandise Available at Miraiya Bookstore

Miraiya Bookstore will be selling the first installment of original merchandise currently available at the pop-up store. The lineup includes acrylic goods and trading items featuring photos from the drama’s filming.

Acrylic stands, keychains, mask cases, and more

The first batch (Part 1) features a lineup that includes acrylic stands in two versions—Harutora Ver. and Iki Ver.—as well as a two-shot acrylic stand, a double-strap acrylic keychain, a set of two Korean-style photo cards, and mask cases.

Trading goods such as die-cut cards and point charms

In the second release of the first series, in addition to a set of two name clips, trading-style die-cut cards, point charms, and instant camera-style photo prints are now available! A complete set of die-cut cards is also available.

Exclusive Purchase Bonus at the Manga Exhibition Venue “Masikaku Card”

At the pop-up store located at the Manga Exhibition venue, the “Masikaku Card (1 variety)” is being distributed as a purchase bonus exclusive to the venue.

During the exhibition period, one card will be given for every 3,000 yen (tax included) spent on original merchandise, including books, at the event venue. The card measures W120 × H120 mm. Purchases from separate receipts cannot be combined, and distribution will end once the allotted quantity is reached.

About the Original Manga and TV Drama “Wait a Minute, Harutora-kun”

The original work is “Wait a Minute, Harutora-kun” by Amekiri (published by Shinshokan, Dia Plus Comics). The story follows the relationship between high school student Iki Kishida—who, ever since his homosexuality became known to those around him, has been hiding his expressions behind a mask while playing the role of the class clown in the boys’ dorm—and Harutora Kurobe, a freshman who became his roommate in the spring of his sophomore year.

In the live-action drama adaptation, Tsubasa Nakagawa plays Ikki Kishida and Masaya Sakuragi plays Harutora Kurobe; the series began airing on Mainichi Broadcasting System on August 13, 2026.

The “Drama & Original Work Pop-Up Store at Manga-ten” will be held at Manga-ten Shibuya from August 28 to September 13, 2026, and at Manga-ten Tennoji from October 9 to October 25, 2026.
