Bandai’s “Tamagotchi” merchandise will go on sale at Shimamura stores nationwide starting Saturday, September 5, 2026! The lineup features four items: squeeze mascots, slide-style flip phone keychains, mini-mini photo album keychains, and fluffy mirror mascots, with a total of 13 designs featuring Mamecchi, Mimecchi, Kuchipatchi, Memecchi, and Furawatchi. They will also go on sale at Shimamura Park (online store) starting at 3:00 PM on the same day.

Bandai’s “Tamagotchi Chocolate Box: Box Figure Collection” toy-in-food product will go on sale in December 2026 at candy sections of mass retailers nationwide. A total of 11 types of figurine charms—including Mametchi and Kuchipatchi (one of which is a secret variant)—are contained in a deluxe, package-style box and sold as a set with chocolate-coated cookies for 350 yen (385 yen including tax).
Pop-up Store
A limited-time pop-up store celebrating the 30th anniversary of Tamagotchi, titled “Everyone, Gather Round! The Tamagotchi Store,” will be held from Friday, September 4, 2026, to Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the special event space on the 2nd floor of Arche Omiya in Saitama. Featuring the event-exclusive “Original Tamagotchi: Celebrating 30 Years!”—a transparent homage to the original Tamagotchi—along with a wide variety of merchandise featuring 30th-anniversary artwork, the store will also offer free gifts based on the total purchase amount.
