“Morureto Gourmet,” the first-ever pop-up store featuring the adorable dog duo “Maltese & Retriever,” is coming to Marui!

The event will be held at the Calendarium on the 1st floor of Yurakucho Marui starting Monday, September 7, 2026, and at the north side of Kyoto Porta Porta Plaza starting Thursday, September 17, at the north side of Porta Plaza in Kyoto Porta. The event will feature restaurant-themed limited-edition merchandise, purchase bonuses, and photo sessions.

Marui’s first-ever POP-UP STORE featuring the wildly popular characters “Morcheese & Retriever” “Morureto Gourmet” has been confirmed. The event’s theme, “Morureto Gourmet,” is a heartwarming culinary concept featuring the close-knit and adorable duo—Morcheese and Retriever—who work at a restaurant and treat customers to delicious meals and sweets.

Set in a restaurant illustrated in warm pastel colors, the venue design features Molcheese and Retriever working cheerfully and energetically to welcome guests. Featuring popular everyday menu items such as ramen, rice balls, pudding, and ice cream, event-exclusive plush toys and mascots inspired by these popular, everyday foods will be available!

“Morureto Gourmet” POP-UP STORE Event Information

“Morureto Gourmet” will be held at two venues—Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo and Kyoto Porta in Kyoto—with separate event periods for each. Since operating hours vary by venue and date, please check the details before visiting.

Yurakucho Marui 1F Calendarium

The Tokyo venue is located at “Calendarrium” on the 1st floor of Yurakucho Marui. Opening hours will be shortened on the final day only.

Kyoto Porta, North Side of Porta Plaza

The Kyoto venue will be held on the “North Side of Porta Plaza” at Kyoto Porta. Please note that on the first day, Thursday, September 17, the event starts at 2:00 PM, which differs from the store’s regular business hours.

Admission to Yurakucho Marui (Advance reservations required during certain hours)

As large crowds are expected at the Yurakucho Marui venue, certain time slots on September 7 (Mon), 8 (Tue), 12 (Sat), and 13 (Sun), entry during certain time slots will require advance reservations via “LivePocket” (first-come, first-served basis). This applies to entry slots from 11:05 AM to 1:00 PM on each day; entry after those times will proceed as usual.

At the Yurakucho Marui venue, on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, , a photo session where you can take pictures with Maltese & Retrievers will be held! Each session is limited to 7 groups, with each group’s session lasting 1 minute and 30 seconds; there are 5 sessions scheduled per day.
