“Freiren of the Funeral Procession” Season 2 Special Screening Event to Be Held on September 26 at 9 Theaters!

A TV anime based on the popular manga by Kazuto Yamada and Tsukasa Abe To commemorate the third anniversary of the broadcast of *Freiren: The Funeral*, a [Season 2 Special Screening Event] has been announced!

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, a specially curated selection of episodes from all 10 episodes of Season 2 will be screened at nine theaters nationwide.

At the main venue, TOHO Cinemas Hibiya, a stage greeting featuring the star-studded cast will take place after the screening, and it will be broadcast via live viewing to the remaining eight theaters.

“Freiren: The Funeral” Season 2 Highlight Screening at 9 Theaters Nationwide

This screening commemorates the third anniversary of the Season 1 premiere on September 29, 2023.

From the 10 episodes of Season 2—which depict the growth and bonds of Freiren, Fern, Stark—will be screened on the big screen in a specially curated selection from the 10 episodes of Season 2, which depict the trio’s growth and bonds throughout their journey.

It will also serve as an opportunity to look back on the series ahead of Season 3 [The Land of Gold Arc], which will begin airing in October 2027.

The screening begins at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and the schedule is the same for all theaters.

Eight episodes selected from Season 2 will be specially compiled, including excerpts from Parts A and B.
