The 90-second official trailer for “Detective Conan: The Murder of No. 30,” a two-hour special marking the 30th anniversary of the TV anime “Detective Conan” and the first such special in 10 years, has been released!
It will air on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. on Nippon TV’s “Friday Roadshow,” and it has been confirmed that an alternate audio track will be available, along with the broadcast of special footage leading into “The Crimson Final Performance,” which premieres the following day!

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the “Detective Conan” TV anime series in 2026, a brand-new TV special—the first in 10 years—is here!
It’s a completely original story aimed at fans of the original manga, the anime, and the theatrical films.
Detective Conan: “The Murder Case of No. 30” Official Trailer
A 90-second official trailer featuring an all-star cast led by Conan Edogawa has been released, as they investigate two mysteries: the counterfeiting of new banknotes and a murder case!
The title, “The No. 30 Murder Case,” was announced late last year during a special YouTube program on the [Anime] Detective Conan Official Channel.
The Story of Detective Conan: “The Murder Case of No. 30”
As the public buzzes with excitement over the issuance of the new 10,000-yen bill, a counterfeit note is left at a murder scene!
With the new 10,000-yen bill—featuring the “Toto Tower”—now in circulation, Conan, the Junior Detective League, Professor Agasa, Ran, and Sonoko visit the Nagano Plant of the Japan Banknote Printing Bureau.
Meanwhile, at the Metropolitan Police Department, Investigative Division 1—including Superintendent Kuroda, Megure, Sato, and Takagi—and members of the Public Security Bureau, led by Yuya Kazami, were summoned.
Document examination technician Toko Satomi determined that the new 10,000-yen bill found at the murder scene Sato and Takagi had been investigating was counterfeit, and a special investigation headquarters was established.
Since it was the 30th counterfeit bill discovered in Japan, the case became known as the “Case No. 30,” and the counterfeit bill was “Ultra 30.”
As the public is thrown into confusion by unprecedented reports of counterfeit bills in circulation, Conan and Heiji head to a factory in Osaka where the counterfeit bills are believed to have been printed.
At the banknote factory on the border between Shizuoka and Kanagawa Prefectures, Sango Yokomizo of the Shizuoka Prefectural Police and Shugo Yokomizo of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police have gathered; at the banknote factory on the border between Nagano and Gunma Prefectures, Kanesuke Yamato, Takaaki Morofushi, and Yui Uehara of the Nagano Prefectural Police, along with Misao Yamamura of the Gunma Prefectural Police, have assembled.
Faced with a national crisis stemming from the counterfeiting of new banknotes, the largest all-star cast in *Detective Conan* history takes on the challenge.

It has been confirmed that a commentary track will be recorded by six cast members: Minami Takayama (Conan Edogawa), Akemi Okamura (Ran Mouri), Rikiya Koyama (Kogoro Mouri), Ryo Horikawa (Heiji Hattori), Yuko Miyamura (Kazuha Toyama), and Director Fumiharu Kamonaka!
You’ll be able to hear behind-the-scenes stories from the voice recording sessions, as well as a discussion between the cast and director as they mark the milestone of the TV anime’s 30th anniversary.

Detective Conan “The Crimson Finale” Special PV
Starting the day after “The Murder Case No. 30,” the popular Osaka-set episode “The Crimson Finale”—featured in Volume 106 of the original manga—will air for three consecutive weeks!
