The TV anime adaptation of Yuki Sonoyama’s popular manga “Breath” will begin airing nationwide on Fuji TV’s “Noitamina” block starting in January 2027. Along with this announcement, a teaser visual, two main cast members, and two character promotional videos featuring scenes from the series have been released.
The teaser visual was created by character designer Honoka Yokoyama. It features delicate eye makeup and white Casablanca lilies, whose floral meanings include “purity” and “blessing.”
The original manga is currently serialized in Kodansha’s *Monthly Shonen Sirius* and has surpassed 1.25 million copies in cumulative circulation. While the anime adaptation itself was already announced in 2026, this update reveals the broadcast period, time slot, and cast.
As of now, the only information announced is that it will air in “January 2027” on “Fuji TV’s Noitamina network nationwide.” A list of broadcast stations, broadcast days and times, and streaming platforms have not yet been announced.
