A collaboration café based on the TV anime *Rosen Maiden*, created by “PEACH-PIT,” will be held at two locations in Tokyo and Osaka from September 13, 2026, through September 29. Featuring newly drawn illustrations with a “sweets” theme, the event will offer a total of 13 collaboration menu items and merchandise!
Collaboration Café
The “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY CAFE,” a collaboration café for the anime “Hetalia World★Stars,” will be held from October 8 to November 11, 2026, at Animate Café Ikebukuro Store 3 and Nagoya Store 2. The event will feature 11 collaboration menu items showcasing original illustrations exclusive to Animate, as well as merchandise such as acrylic stands. Random coasters will be given as a bonus with menu orders, and photo cards will be provided upon payment.
Pop-up Store
The pop-up store “NIJISANJI EN Welcome home, boys!” by the VTuber group “NIJISANJI EN” will open starting Friday, September 18, 2026, at HMV & BOOKS SHIBUYA, followed by locations in Nagoya, Hakata, and Namba, and Shinjuku. Featuring acrylic stands and pin badges using newly shot visuals of Albarn Knox, Claude Clomark, Sunny Briscoe, Ukiki Violeta, Bentacrow Bringer, and Vesalius Bandage, Yu Q Wilson. In addition to these items—which include acrylic stands, pin badges, fluffy loungewear, and Japan-exclusive merchandise sets—the event will also feature a venue-exclusive mini-game titled “The Phantom Thief Jewel Game,” surprise videos, and photo spots.

The “Rose Tea Parlor” collaboration café for *The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls* will open at four SMILE BASE CAFE locations starting October 1, 2026, beginning with the Nagoya Sakae branch. A total of 13 collaboration menu items and 6 types of merchandise, themed around “Rose Tea Parlor”—featuring a rose-patterned dress—and the newly illustrated “Crescent Princess,” will be available. Random coasters will be given as a bonus with food and drink orders, and random postcards will be provided upon payment.

A new prize item for the movie *Chikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island*—the “Kombu-Style Plush Shoulder Bag”—will be rolled out nationwide at amusement facilities and other locations starting in mid-September 2026. The bag features a zipper on the shoulder strap that replicates kombu seaweed, and the lineup includes a total of 5 designs!
Collaboration Café
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of *LaLa*’s launch, the “Natsume’s Book of Friends” Collaboration Café will be held at the motto cafe Osaka location from September 30 to November 29, 2026. The event will feature 16 collaboration menu items—with different offerings for the first and second halves of the event—as well as 12 types of collaboration merchandise, including original coasters, paper bookmarks, acrylic stands, and reproductions of original artwork, all available as special gifts with purchase. Reservations for the first half of the event will open on September 11 at 7:00 PM.
Pop-up Store
A pop-up store for *Love Live! Nijigasaki Academy School Idol Club* will be held at Volks Akihabara Hobby Heaven 2 starting Friday, September 18, 2026, and at the Volks Osaka Showroom starting Saturday, October 10!
A total of 13 merchandise items—including Trading Heart pin badges, acrylic stands, and half-B2 tapestries—featuring newly drawn illustrations titled “Goddesses of Flowers” will be on sale. The “Natsume’s Book of Friends: Nyanko-sensei Relaxed Collection” gacha series, based on the TV anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends,” will be released by Takara Tomy Arts starting in September 2026. These display-style mini-figures are modeled after the character’s original “relaxed” poses, with a lineup of five types, including “Relaxing in a Star Shape” and “Relaxing with Crossed Legs.” Each pull costs 300 yen (tax included).

“Junji Ito POP-UP SHOP ‘Manazashi’,” a pop-up shop featuring original merchandise based on illustrations from the works of horror manga artist Junji Ito, will be held on a rotating basis starting Friday, September 18, 2026, at three locations: Tower Records Shibuya, Abeno Hoop, and Fukuoka Parco—starting Friday, September 18, 2026!
The event will feature apparel and collectibles based on masterpieces such as “Tomie,” “The Handsome Boy at the Crossroads,” and “The Hanging Balloon,” and the venue will include a mirrored area where countless “eyes” of Tomie cover an entire wall, as well as photo spots.

The TV Anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends” Animate Fair 2026 will be held from Saturday, September 12, 2026, through Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Animate stores nationwide and on the Animate online store. Newly drawn merchandise based on the “exorcist” theme—including trading pin badges, illustration cards, and acrylic stands—will be available for pre-release purchase. For every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on character goods, customers will receive a fair purchase bonus: a set of “postcards” (6 varieties total).

Pop-up Store
A pop-up shop themed around the “ugly sweaters” from the TV anime “Haikyu!!” will be held at three locations in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Hyogo, starting at Yurakucho Marui on Friday, October 2, 2026. The shop will feature “ugly sweaters” (17,600 yen each) featuring newly drawn artwork of Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Tetsuro Kuroo, Kenma Kozume, Kotaro Kito, and Kyojji Akashi, as well as various other merchandise and trading goods.

The TV anime “Sergeant Keroro☆,” based on the manga by Kannon Yoshizaki, will begin airing on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. on the TV Tokyo network of six stations. Makoto Koichi will voice Sergeant Keroro, and ahead of the broadcast, a special preview screening of Episodes 1 and 2 will be held at United Cinemas Toyosu on Saturday, September 26.

To celebrate the announcement of the fourth season (Final Season) of the TV anime “My Favorite Child,” a collaboration café is being held at the Nakasa restaurant in Arima Onsen from September 5 to October 18, 2026. A total of 16 collaboration menu items are available, including “Ai’s Extra Special Rice Bowl” and “All-Out Cheers for Arima Kana!! Glow Stick Rice Bowl.” Customers who order will receive picks, straw tags, and coasters, and 12 types of original merchandise will also be on sale.
Manga, Magazines, Light Novels
An exclusive, newly drawn visual featuring Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi from *Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgis Night* will be released as the special edition cover of the November issue of *NYLON JAPAN* on Monday, September 28, 2026 (Mon). In addition to a lengthy interview with Kazuki Kawada, who handled the visual and concept design, and a fashion shoot feature by Hidetaka Kano, merchandise featuring the newly drawn illustrations is also planned.

It has been announced that a three-episode animated series themed around “Evil★Twin” will debut in January 2027 as part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG promotional short anime series, “Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES.” The “Devil of the Sin Treasure Hunt” arc is currently streaming on the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG YouTube channel. In Episode 1, “The Black Witch Diabellstar,” Asami Seto voices Diabellstar, and Misaki Kuno voices Populus.
VTuber Roa Kaitetsu’s collaboration café, “Roa’s Seaside Tea Party at Cure Maid Café,” will be held at Cure Maid Café in Akihabara from November 20 to December 6, 2026. The menu will feature omelet rice and parfaits supervised by Roa, as well as nine types of collaboration drinks. Customers will receive a limited-edition card (5 varieties total) with each order and a limited-edition sticker (5 varieties total) with every 2,200 yen spent on merchandise.

The “Vampire Knight Collaboration Cafe,” based on the manga “Vampire Knight” by Matsuri Hino, will be held at My Charaful Cafe in Kanda, Tokyo, from December 10, 2026, to February 14, 2027, and from March 10, 2027, to May 9, 2027, in Osaka. A key visual featuring characters dressed in maid and butler-style outfits has been released. The Tokyo venue will operate on an 80-minute time slot basis with priority given to reservations; during certain periods, reservations will be allocated via a lottery.

"The Stray Cat Gang Feast Party in TOBU" is set to take place at the Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro Branch from November 5 to November 25! The event will feature parfaits, drinks, and merchandise featuring original mini-character illustrations of the characters wearing cat-ear and rabbit-ear hoodies.
