“Romance Fantasy Festival BY SORAJIMA,” a limited-time pop-up event featuring five popular titles from SoraJima Co., Ltd., is set to take place at the Calendarium on the 5th floor of Ueno Marui starting October 23, 2026! In addition to an exhibition of standee panels and merchandise sales for the five titles—including *Revenge from the Scarred Saint* and *I Can’t Stop Doting on the Empire’s Number One Villainess!*—signing sessions for those who purchase the tankōbon volumes are also scheduled.

“Oji-Kawa” Pop-Up at Kiddy Land Osaka Umeda Starts October 23!

A pop-up shop for the TV anime “Uncle Loves Cute Things” will open at the Kiddyland Osaka Umeda store starting October 23, 2026! Merchandise such as Pug-Taro plush toys and embroidered square pouches will be on sale, and on October 24, an autograph session with the series’ creator, Tsutomu-sensei, will be held at the Hankyu Sanbangai Event Space.

“Neko no Bu-chan” 10th Anniversary Store at Yamashiroya Opens October 17!

A pop-up shop titled “Neko no Bu-chan: Mojamoja Ryokou,” celebrating the 10th anniversary of “Neko no Bu-chan,” will be held starting October 17, 2026, at the event space on the 6th floor of Yamashiroya in Ueno, Tokyo! The event will feature a signing session with author Kino Takahashi, meet-and-greets with Neko Bu-chan, a pre-release sale of new 10th-anniversary merchandise, free Yamashiroya-exclusive postcards, and an exhibition and raffle sale of newly drawn illustrations depicting all 47 prefectures.

Shaft Ten POP UP at Harajuku ACG_Labo Starts October 30!

A pop-up event for Shaft’s official online shop, “Shaft Ten,” will be held at Harajuku ACG_Labo from October 30 to November 11, 2026! In addition to an exhibition of production materials from *Virgin Punk: Clockwork Girl* and *Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Walpurgis Night*, as well as original merchandise from the *Monogatari* series and other titles, a signing session with director Yasuomi Umezu will be held on October 31.

Full Moon Coffee Shop’s “Star Reading” Pop-Up Store Opens Nationwide Starting October 1!

Maiko Mochizuki · Chihiro Sakurada, will be held sequentially at 23 Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore locations nationwide starting October 1, 2026, to celebrate the release of the latest volume in their popular series, *Star Reading at the Full Moon Coffee Shop*. In addition to selling original collaboration merchandise—such as mugs, teaspoons, and drip coffee bags—themed around “Book & Cafe,” Maruzen’s Kyoto Main Store and magmabooks will host an exhibition of reproduction original illustrations, a panel exhibition, and a book signing event. Furthermore, a collaboration café will be held at the Kyoto venue.

Gloomy CHAXCORE GATHERIN’ in Omotesando Starts September 18!

A pop-up event titled “CHAXCORE GATHERIN’ (Chaxcore Gatherin) ~Gloomy and His Hilarious Friends Special~,” featuring characters created by Mr. Mori Chuck such as “Gloomy the Mischievous Bear” and “The Versatile Rabbit,” will be held at Gallery W in Omotesando, Tokyo, starting Friday, September 18, 2026!
In addition to an exhibition of panels featuring newly drawn artwork, the event will showcase venue-exclusive merchandise such as canvas art and acrylic stands, as well as the mascot from the first installment of the new “CHAXCORE” series. There will also be a signing session with artist Chuck Mori and a meet-and-greet event with Gloomy.
