The collaboration event “~Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World Travel~,” a partnership between the popular TV anime “Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World” (based on the original work by Tatsuhei Nagatsuki) and JR Central’s “Oshi-Tabi” campaign, will be held from September 25 to December 25, 2026.
An original voice drama, available exclusively on board the Tokaido Shinkansen, will feature different content for northbound and southbound trains!
Please note that both the complimentary in-train gifts and collaboration merchandise will be available exclusively at Animate Osaka Nipponbashi.

Details on “Re:Zero × JR Tokai — Travel to Another World Starting from Re:Zero”
The campaign consists of three main elements: an in-train-exclusive voice drama, a ride-exclusive promotional item, and the sale of newly illustrated merchandise.
An alternate story has been prepared featuring Subaru, Emilia, Ram, and Rem as they head toward the watergate city of Pristella!

How long will the collaboration run?
The event will run from Friday, September 25, 2026, to Friday, December 25, 2026. The voice drama, onboard benefits, and merchandise sales will all be available during this same period.
How can I listen to the voice drama?
You can play it by riding the Tokaido Shinkansen, accessing the dedicated website, and completing the speed measurement and survey. Account registration (free) and GPS location tracking are required; access is not available on certain sections, such as between Tokyo Station and Shin-Yokohama Station. At Tokyo Station and Shin-Osaka Station can be accessed regardless of whether you are actually riding the train.
Is the content different for the northbound and southbound trips?
Yes, it is. The downbound route (Tokyo → Shin-Osaka) features the “Journey to Pristera” edition, while the upbound route (Shin-Osaka → Tokyo) features the “Return from Pristera” edition.
Can I receive promotional items or merchandise in Tokyo?
No, you cannot. Both the redemption of promotional items for riding the train and the sale of collaboration merchandise are available exclusively at Animate Osaka Nipponbashi.
What is the validity period of the proof of boarding?
It is valid until 11:59 PM on the day after the date of issuance. However, on the final day, December 25, it is valid only on that day. You can obtain a proof of ride only once per day; if you obtain a new one, your previous proof of ride will be invalidated.
