Pokémon Legend Research will be held in Nihonbashi and Yaesu starting September 9!

“Meet Legendary Pokémon: Legend Research in Nihonbashi & Yaesu” will be held. The event runs from Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to Sunday, November 29, 2026, and the event will take place in the Nihonbashi and Yaesu areas.

The main visual features Solgaleo, Lunala, Zacian, Zamazenta, Groudon, Kyogre, Dialga, Palkia, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Zekrom, Reshiram, Xerneas, Yveltal, Collidon, and Milidon. Pikachu is in the center, and Charizard, Bulbasaur, and Blastoise can be seen around it.

This project is structured with both paid and free content. Anyone can view the statues and decorations throughout the city for free. The only paid component is the puzzle-solving activity; participation requires a puzzle kit voucher costing 3,300 yen (tax included).

Pokémon Legends: Research Statues and City Decorations

In the Nihonbashi and Yaesu areas, 19 Pokémon, including Legendary Pokémon, will appear as statues. In addition, a total of over 100 Pokémon will appear all over the city.

There is no admission fee to view the statues and decorations. Even if you don’t participate in the mystery-solving activities, the event is designed so you can enjoy simply walking around the town.

Pokémon Legends: Research Puzzle Challenge

The paid puzzle-solving event is “Pokémon Legend Research: Awaken the Legendary Research Report.” As you visit various locations in Nihonbashi and Yaesu where Legendary Pokémon have appeared, you’ll decipher encrypted reports. The puzzles were created by RIDDLER.

How to Play the Puzzle Game

1. Purchase a puzzle kit redemption voucher in advance.
2. On the date specified at the time of purchase, pick up your puzzle kit at the reception desk on the 1st floor of Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower.
3. Solve the puzzles as you visit the Pokémon statues.

Vouchers are available for advance purchase only; same-day tickets are not available

Puzzle-solving kit vouchers are sold at “Mitsui Shopping Park Ticket” and “Ticket Pia.”

Same-day tickets are not available. While you can purchase tickets online on the day of the event, on-site payment is not accepted, and and there is a limit on the number of tickets sold each day. Since tickets may sell out by the day before, it’s best to purchase them early if you’ve already decided on a date.

Collaboration Event with Pokémon GO

During the same period, a collaboration event with “Pokémon GO” will also take place. From September 9 to November 29, 2026, new PokéStops and Gyms featuring event-exclusive artwork will be set up at the venue.

Important Notes When Purchasing Merchandise

1. The merchandise sales corner is a completely cashless store. Cash cannot be used.
2. Event-exclusive merchandise will not be available anywhere other than the merchandise sales corner during the event period. This also excludes the Pokémon Center Tokyo DX and Pokémon Store Tokyo Station located near the venue.
3. Quantities are limited, and items may sell out. Even if an item is sold out, it may be restocked during the event period.
4. To ensure more people can make purchases, purchase limits may be imposed.
5. Depending on crowd levels, admission may be restricted, or numbered tickets may be distributed. Numbered tickets do not guarantee the purchase of merchandise.
