A pop-up shop for Keiko Shibata’s popular picture book *The Bread Thief*—titled “The Bread Thief POP UP SHOP in KIDDY LAND”—will be held from October 2 to November 1, 2026, at two KIDDY LAND locations: the Harajuku Store and the Osaka Umeda Store! Merchandise from the Secret Collection—including acrylic stands, TV-shaped magnets, die-cut pass cases, mugs, and Jetstream and Kurutoga pens—will be available, and customers who spend 2,500 yen or more (tax included) will receive an original pin badge as a gift.
Original Art Exhibition / Exhibition
An exhibition of original artwork commemorating the 20th anniversary of the serialization of Kiminori Wakasugi’s death metal comedy manga *Detroit Metal City* will be held at the EDITION88 flagship store in Gotanda from October 1 to October 25, 2026. The exhibition will feature color cover illustrations from Volumes 1 through 10 of the collected editions, as well as storyboards for the all-new “prequel episode” created exclusively for the Complete Edition. “88 Graph” prints and original merchandise will also be available for purchase.

From Takara Tomy Arts’ new gacha series, “Pucharm,” glossy, clear figurine charms featuring characters from Disney’s *Big Hero 6* will go on sale starting the week of September 28, 2026. Each charm comes with a clear silicone band. The lineup includes all four Baymax variants (A–D), and the price is 400 yen (tax included) per play.
Collaboration Café
A collaboration between the original TV anime “SK∞ (SK Eight)” and Animate Cafe will take place at Animate Cafe Stand Hareza Ikebukuro from October 14 to November 4, 2026. Nine collaboration menu items and five types of merchandise featuring newly drawn mini-character illustrations of the eight main characters—including Koyomi and Ranga—will be available, and customers will receive one of eight different coasters with each menu item purchased.

The “Piapro Characters” POP-UP SHOP in Ikebukuro Sukima Store by eeo is set to open on November 11, 2026, at the Ikebukuro Sukima Store located in front of the Central Ticket Gate at JR Ikebukuro Station! New merchandise featuring original mini-character illustrations by Yumenouchi-sensei will be available. Pre-orders will begin on September 24 at the eeo Store online, and for every 2,200 yen (tax included) spent on related products, customers will receive a random postcard (7 varieties total).
New Anime
The manga *Oishinbo* is set to air as the TV anime *New Oishinbo* in 2027. Three main cast members—including Yohei Azagami, who plays Shiro Yamaoka—have been revealed, along with a teaser visual and a super teaser PV. A special video will also premiere on September 25 at 8:00 p.m.!

To commemorate the premiere of the third season of the TV anime “The Apothecary’s Musings,” the “POP UP SHOP presented by TOHO animation” will be held sequentially at three venues—Shibuya Moddy, Kobe Marui, and Hakata Marui—starting October 10, 2026! A nationwide collaboration campaign between the four-member pop group “Monaki” and Round One will run from October 1 to December 13, 2026. The campaign will feature collaboration drinks and food items inspired by the members, as well as promotional items like stand-up coasters, which you’ll receive with every purchase!

New merchandise for the anime “Sergeant Keroro☆” will go on sale at select Avail stores starting October 3, 2026, and will also be available online starting at 12:00 p.m. on the same day. The lineup includes eight items, ranging from star-shaped pouches featuring designs of the Keroro Squad to tote bags, keychains, and slippers, with prices starting at 550 yen (tax included).

The merchandise lineup and purchase bonuses for the “Wizard School Ver.” pop-up shop for the TV anime “SAKAMOTO DAYS” have been announced! Starting October 23, 2026, at Shibuya MODI in Tokyo, and November 20 at Abeno Rakubus in Osaka, a total of 10 items will be available, including acrylic stands featuring Sakamoto and friends in their magic academy uniforms, extra-large acrylic stands measuring approximately 40 cm, and mini-character merchandise—will be available. A 90-second official trailer and additional stills have been released for the two-hour special “Detective Conan: The Murder of No. 30,” marking the 30th anniversary of the TV anime series and the first such special in 10 years. It will air on Friday Roadshow on September 25 at 9:00 p.m., and will feature a commentary track by the voice cast—including Minami Takayama—and director Fumihiro Kamonaka!

The full lineup of eight limited-edition menu items and special perks for the “Cute Little Otter” collaboration café, “Nun-Nun Bakery Café,” has been revealed, and advance reservations began on September 18, 2026.
