Anime A collaboration between the anime “Nintama Rantarō” and hot spring towns, titled “Ninjutsu Academy: A Relaxing Hot Spring Trip,” has been announced. The venues are Atami Onsen in Shizuoka Prefecture and Noboribetsu Onsen in Hokkaido.

The promotional visual features an original illustration of the Ninjutsu Academy students enjoying the hot springs in yukata. Some have tenugui towels draped around their necks, some holding bottled drinks, and others placing rubber ducks in their bath tubs—the scene captures the post-bath atmosphere. In the center, a figure is seen holding a large washing tub overhead, creating a lively composition that perfectly captures the spirit of a hot spring getaway.

Planned event activities include the sale of tour packages, day-trip hot spring visits, and collaborations with nearby shops. All of these are currently in the planning stages, and details are expected to be updated periodically on the special website and special X page.

Nintama Rantarō Hot Spring Collaboration: Locations and Dates

The event will be held at two locations, with start dates one week apart. The Atami Onsen event starts on Friday, November 13, and the Noboribetsu Onsen event starts on Friday, November 20; both events end on Sunday, March 28, 2027.

The event period is set to be relatively long, at about four and a half months. Even if you plan to visit both locations, it will be easy to choose dates starting from November 20 onward.

Nintama Rantarō Hot Spring Collaboration Original Merchandise

There are a total of 8 types of original merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of the characters in yukata.

The acrylic stands, acrylic keychains, pin badges, clear cards, and acrylic blocks each come in a total of 14 varieties, featuring the entire cast of Ninjutsu Academy. Please note that the acrylic keychains, pin badges, and clear cards are sold randomly, so you cannot choose the specific design.

The eco-bag, hand towel, and mesh travel pouch are all limited-quantity items. Sales will end once stock runs out.

Nintama Rantarō Hot Spring Collaboration Merchandise Pre-order

Ahead of the collaboration event, pre-orders for original merchandise are now being accepted online. The pre-order period runs from 6:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2026, to 11:59 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 (a national holiday).

The pre-order period lasts approximately two weeks and closes about two months before the collaboration event. If you wait until the event in November to buy them, this pre-order period will have ended.
