The second official guidebook in the *Sound! Euphonium* series, *The Kitauji High School Wind Ensemble Diary 2*, will be released by Takarajimasha on Thursday, September 10, 2026 (Thursday) by Takarajimasha.
This is the second fan book based on the original work in a decade, released to commemorate the theatrical release of the second part of the anime series’ finale, *Final Movement: Sound! Euphonium*.

The 29 stories in *The Daily Life of the Kita-Uji High School Wind Ensemble* are a collection of short stories that Ayano Takeda has posted on X. “Etcetera About Love” and “Fragments of a First Year” are also reprints of short stories that were originally distributed as gifts to theatergoers. However, since the latter two are included in the “Original Kansai Dialect Version,” the wording differs from the versions that were distributed.
Four Original Short Stories
The following four short stories were written specifically for this book.

- A Third-Year Student’s Lunch Break as Graduation Approaches
- Kumiko & Reina’s Outing
It also includes episodes set after Kumiko and the other third-year students have graduated.

Manga Adaptation by Asada Nikki
Asada Nikki, who has been responsible for the illustrations, is adapting the popular short story “I Wonder What’s Inside the Circle” into a manga.

Interview with Ayano Takeda and Cover Illustration Gallery
To mark the series’ conclusion, this issue features an interview with the original author, Ayano Takeda. She discusses the line from *Disqualified as Club President* that became a hot topic in the anime, explaining that she wrote it specifically to find words that would sound natural coming from Reina but would still hurt Kumiko.
A gallery page compiling all the cover illustrations to date will also be available.

The event will run for two weeks and will be held exclusively at these two locations in Tokyo and Kyoto.
