Comments from the Original Authors and Voice Actors

On stage, special illustrations from both original authors were unveiled, and special comments were read aloud on their behalf.

Koji Kiriyama (Original Author of *NINKŪ* – *Ninpū*)

He commented, “I’m truly very excited” about the worlds of Naruto and his friends intersecting with that of Kazusuke and his friends. He noted that this “miracle” was made possible by a proposal and the generosity of Mr. Masashi Kishimoto, and he expressed his honor that Mr. Masashi Kishimoto has such a deep appreciation for the world of “NINKŪ-Ninpū-.”

Masashi Kishimoto (Original Author of *NARUTO*)

He began by saying, “I drew *NARUTO* because I wanted to see the continuation of *NINKŪ-Nin-Kū-*,” “Without *NINKŪ*, *NARUTO* wouldn’t exist.” “In other words, Fusuke is Naruto’s shadow mentor,” he revealed, highlighting the significant influence. He explained that he had come to dream of depicting this mentor-disciple relationship within the actual series, and concluded, “My long-cherished wish has come true, and I’ve been able to create *the true sequel*. It’s a four-episode series!” she concluded.

Rika Matsumoto (as Fusuke)

She commented on the joy of reuniting with Fusuke and the other characters from “Ninpū,” whose TV anime premiered about 30 years ago, and expressed deep emotion at reuniting with the original cast from that era. Describing it as “a work packed with messages that are especially needed in this day and age,” she called on both those who watched it as children and those seeing it for the first time to enjoy it.

Junko Takeuchi (as Naruto Uzumaki)

Regarding the appearance of the “Boyhood Arc” Naruto and his friends, and the chance to take on missions alongside Sasuke and Sakura once again, she commented, “It’s the height of emotion.” Noting that “Sasuke is on our side—and how precious that time is,” she added, “We’ll be carrying out missions alongside Fusuke and the others from *Ninpū*!”

Noriaki Sugiyama (as Sasuke Uchiha)

On stage, he commented, “I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to call this a ‘dream project’ that Mr. Kishimoto has always wanted to do and has finally been able to realize. I really hope everyone will see it!”
