To commemorate the broadcast of the sequel to the TV drama “Gentle Waves, A Married Couple’s Good Days,” based on the original work by Nishi Kaori, the “TV Drama ‘Gentle Waves, A Married Couple’s Good Days’ POP-UP STORE at Loft” is now open!

Starting October 15, 2026, at Loft Shinjuku 3-chome, the event will tour five Loft locations, featuring merchandise for Natsumi and Takimasa, as well as screenings of special video messages from Kyoko Yoshine and Kyoiya Honda.

Details on “Gentle Waves, A Couple’s Fine Day POP UP STORE at Loft”

“Gentle Waves, Married Life,” originally created by Hachi Nishi and currently serialized in Comic DAYS (Kodansha), will be adapted into a TV drama on Fuji TV in April 2025, with the sequel set to premiere on October 15, 2026, at 10:00 PM.

To commemorate the sequel’s premiere, the “Drama: ‘Gentle Waves, Married Life’ POP-UP STORE at Loft” will tour five Loft locations in Shinjuku 3-chome, Umeda, Fukui, Sakae, and Hiroshima, starting on October 15 to coincide with the premiere. Merchandise featuring Natsumi and Takimasa will be on sale at the venues.

The tour will visit five Loft locations, starting with Shinjuku 3-chome Loft on the 3rd floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building, followed by Umeda Loft on the 6th floor of the Hanshin Umeda Main Store, Fukui Loft on the 6th floor of the Seibu Fukui Store, Sakae Loft on the 6th floor of SAKAE NOVA, and Hiroshima Loft Loft Market on the 5th floor of Aqua Hiroshima Center Street.

All venues are scheduled to close at 5:00 PM on the final day, except for Hiroshima Loft, which is scheduled to close at 4:00 PM.

Special video messages from Kyoko Yoshine and Kyoya Honda will be screened

At the venues, special message videos featuring Kyoko Yoshine (voicing Natsumi Ebata) and Kyoiya Honda (voicing Takamasa Ebata) will be screened.

Four types of “Cast Cards” available as purchase bonuses!

For every 2,000 yen (tax included) spent on eligible merchandise at the venue, customers will receive one random “Cast Card” (4 designs total). This promotion is limited to a set quantity and will end once supplies run out; since distribution is random, customers cannot choose the design. The designs are the same across all stores.
