The lineup features five characters: Hanakappa, Momokappa-chan, Momokappa-chan’s older brother, Garizo, and Aguru-chan.
Each character is available in both a ball chain version and a lobster clasp version, for a total lineup of 10 varieties.
Since they’re designed to be connected via snap hooks, you can collect them and link them together for even more fun.

Introducing “Hanakappa: Pinch and Connect!”

“Pinch and Connect Mascots” is a series that combines finger-sized mascots with metal clips. This release features a set of five “Hanakappa” characters.
Each character comes in two versions—a ball chain version and a lobster clasp version—for a total lineup of 10 varieties.

Lineup of All 10 Varieties
The lineup features five characters: Hanakappa, Momokappa-chan, Momokappa-chan’s older brother, Garizo, and Agel-chan.
Each character features a rounded design from head to toe, with a loop at the bottom of the body for attaching hardware.
Hanakappa
This figure features blue and green leaves on its head and a green ribbon tied around its neck. Its body is white, and it is depicted with both arms spread out to the sides.

Momokappa-chan
A figure with brown hair, topped with a peach-colored flower and green leaves. Her body is peach-colored, and among the five figures, she has the largest proportion of her head covered by hair.

Momokappa-chan’s Older Brother
A figure with black hair topped with a green leaf and a blue lower body. It is characterized by its furrowed brow and the yellow design on its cheek.

Garizo
A figure with a completely blue body. It features large, white-eyed eyes and is depicted with its limbs spread wide. Among the five figures, this is the only one with a silhouette that does not resemble a traditional kappa.

Ageru-chan
A figure with pink and green decorations on its head and a yellow body. Its most distinctive feature is its eyes, which emphasize the eyelashes.

The Clasp Version has a different fastener
Even though they’re the same character, the Ball Chain Ver. and Crab Clasp Ver. have different top fasteners.
The Ball Chain Ver. is designed to hang from a beaded chain. In contrast, the Crab Clasp Ver. has a hook-shaped fastener that opens and closes, attached directly to the figure.
The image below shows the Crab Clasp Ver. of Agel-chan. The design of the mascot itself is identical; only the hardware has been swapped out.

Connect and Play with Snap Hooks
As the product name “Tsunagete” (Connect) suggests, this series is characterized by the ability to link the mascots together.
By threading the hook on the Crab Clasp version through the loop of another mascot, you can link multiple figures together and carry them around. The official site even encourages fans to “Collect lots of them and link them together!”
If you connect all five characters, you can recreate the scene where the cast members are lined up in the story.
