The “Fumiko Tanigawa: 40th Anniversary of Her Career at Shueisha Original Art Exhibition,” commemorating manga artist Fumiko Tanigawa’s 40th anniversary with Shueisha, will be held from October 21 to November 4, 2026, at POP Culture Style IKEBUKURO in Ikebukuro, Tokyo!
Centered on color and black-and-white original artwork selected by Ms. Tanigawa herself, this exhibition looks back on her 40-year creative journey.

An exhibition of original artwork commemorating the 40th anniversary of Fumiko Tanigawa’s career at Shueisha, where she has been publishing her work in magazines such as “Ribon,” “Cookie,” and “Coco Hana” since the 1980s!
Featuring color and black-and-white original artwork selected primarily by Ms. Tanigawa herself from works such as “Local Train,” “Full Moon of Feelings,” “I Like You,” “My First Love,” and more—the exhibition features color and black-and-white original artwork selected primarily by Ms. Tanigawa herself.
The exhibition also includes a “Moment of Confession” section showcasing memorable confession scenes from her works alongside the original artwork, as well as displays of materials and artifacts that offer insight into her artistic style and the background of her creative process.
Advance Admission Reservations
To help manage crowds, we will be accepting free advance admission reservations via the “LivePocket-Ticket-” ticketing service for the five days from Wednesday, October 21, through Sunday, October 25!
Registration begins at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 9, 2026.
