Love Live! GiGO Akihabara Building 3 10th Anniversary Cafe: The First Theme Is Nijigaku!

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the GiGO Collaboration Cafe Akihabara Building 3, a collaboration cafe with the Love Live! series will be held from November 21, 2026, to April 11, 2027. The first installment features the Nijigasaki Academy School Idol Club. Newly drawn illustrations of the members wearing the GiGO Collaboration Cafe uniforms have been unveiled, and a survey is currently underway asking which menu items fans would like to see brought back during the event period.

“Moto Hagio Exhibition: Longing for Europe” Opens in Oyamazaki, Kyoto, on December 19!

An exhibition of original artwork by Muto Hagio, titled “Muto Hagio Exhibition: Longing for Europe,” is set to be held at the Asahi Group Oyamazaki Sanso Art Museum in Kyoto. Running from December 19, 2026, to April 11, 2027, the exhibition will feature over 200 original artworks, focusing primarily on works set in Europe, such as *The Family of Po* and *Thomas’s Heart*!

Licorice Recoil × JR Tokai “Favorite Character Travel” Event: Second Round Starts October 23!

The second collaboration between the TV anime “Licorice Recoil” and JR Central’s “Oshi-Tabi” will take place from Friday, October 23, 2026, through Thursday, April 22, 2027. In addition to the streaming of all six episodes of “Licorice Radio”—which can only be heard aboard the Tokaido Shinkansen—the event will feature giveaways of bromide-style cards and clear file folders, a lottery for a limited-edition event inviting 300 guests, and the sale of online merchandise available exclusively on board.

The “The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert,” commemorating the 40th anniversary of the “The Legend of Zelda” series, will be held in six performances across five cities nationwide, kicking off with a Tokyo performance on Saturday, January 23, 2027. “Medalist: The Movie” Opens February 19, 2027! Movie Tickets Go on Sale September 4

It has been announced that the theatrical version of the anime “Medalist,” based on the popular manga by Tsuru Maikada, will open nationwide on Friday, February 19, 2027.
Pre-sale “Muvichike” tickets featuring newly drawn illustrations will go on sale at participating theaters for 1,600 yen (tax included) starting Friday, September 4, 2026. Additionally, reruns of the first and second seasons of the TV anime series have been scheduled to begin in October.

Kirby’s Pupu-Pupu Candy Shop Mascot Charm Coming in September!

The “Kirby” capsule toy series, “Pupupu’s Candy Shop Mascot Charms,” will go on sale at capsule vending machines nationwide starting in the fourth week of September 2026. These mascot charms, featuring icing cookie designs based on artwork from “Pupupu’s Candy Shop,” come in a total of six varieties: two types of Kirby, Waddle Dee, Waddle Doo, King Dedede, and Meta Knight. Based on the TV anime “Rozen Maiden,” adapted from the manga by PEACH-PIT, the first installment of the “Pingurumi” plush badge series is scheduled for release by Bushiroad Prize in December 2026.
