A *Gintama* TSUTAYA POP UP SHOP is set to open at Kyoto IP Bookstore on Friday, October 2, 2026! New merchandise—including acrylic stands, clear files, and folding screen-style color paper—featuring brand-new illustrations themed around seasonal flowers and plants will be available. Additionally, a purchase bonus will be offered: for every 2,200 yen (tax included) spent on eligible items, customers will receive a random limited-edition bromide (7 varieties total). The “Horimiya” 15th Anniversary Collaboration Cafe, “Horimiya CAFE: Katagiri High School Culture Festival,” will be held at the motto cafe Ikebukuro location starting October 14, 2026. Details have been released regarding all 16 food, dessert, and drink items that will be served during the first half of the Tokyo event, as well as the takeout menu, special perks, and pre-release merchandise.

The TV anime “Breath” will air on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block starting in January 2027!

The TV anime adaptation of Yuki Sonoyama’s *Breath* will begin airing nationwide on Fuji TV’s “Noitamina” block starting in January 2027. Tomotaka Ohno has been cast as Aia Udagawa, and Chiyuki Miura as Jun Sumizaki. Two character promotional videos, featuring teaser visuals and scenes from the series, have been released.

The fourth installment of the “HUNTER×HUNTER” THE STAGE series, based on the manga by Yoshihiro Togashi, titled “ “HUNTER×HUNTER” THE STAGE 4″ has been confirmed, with Part 1 set to run from January to February 2027 and Part 2 from July to August 2027 in Tokyo and Kyoto. The fourth installment is based on one of the most popular arcs in the original series, the “Chimera Ant Arc,” and will depict the battle between Gon and his friends and the Chimera Ant army in a two-part series. The first-ever UNDERTALE exhibition will be held in Tokyo and Osaka starting February 19, 2027!

“UNDERTALE MUSEUM,” the first exhibition dedicated to the globally beloved role-playing game “UNDERTALE,” will be held at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro starting February 19, 2027, and at the Osaka Nanko ATC Gallery starting April 22. Supervised by developer Toby Fox, the key visual—illustrated by Temmie Chang—has also been unveiled.

“Medalist: The Movie” Opens February 19, 2027! Movie Tickets Go on Sale September 4

It has been announced that the theatrical version of the anime “Medalist,” based on the popular manga by Tsuru Maikada, will open nationwide on Friday, February 19, 2027.
Pre-sale “Muvichike” tickets featuring newly drawn illustrations will go on sale at participating theaters for 1,600 yen (tax included) starting Friday, September 4, 2026. Additionally, reruns of the first and second seasons of the TV anime series have been scheduled to begin in October.

“OreGairu” × JR Tokai “Favorite Character Trip” Collaboration Starts September 18!

A collaboration between JR Central’s “Oshi-Tabi” campaign and *My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected*, commemorating the 15th anniversary of the original manga, will run from Friday, September 18, 2026, through Wednesday, March 31, 2027.
Exclusively on board the Tokaido Shinkansen, four original short stories written specifically for this event by the series’ creator, Wataru Watari, will be distributed. Original cards and clear files will also be available as special gifts for passengers.

“Yu-Gi-Oh! Kazuki Takahashi Original Art Exhibition” Opens in Kyobashi, Tokyo, on December 12!

“Kazuki Takahashi Original Art Exhibition: YU-GI-OH! ART WORKS,” the first exhibition of original artwork by Kazuki Takahashi, creator of *Yu-Gi-Oh!*, will be held at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO in Tokyo from Saturday, December 12, 2026, through Sunday, February 21, at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO in Tokyo.
Featuring over 370 hand-drawn original manuscripts, as well as color illustrations and rough sketches—including some being shown for the first time—the exhibition will be organized into five chapters. Tickets are 2,200 yen (tax included) for general admission, and the lottery registration for the first half of December will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026.
