“Goodbye, Lara” Special Exhibition at Kintetsu Department Store, Kusatsu Branch, Starting September 30!

A special exhibition for the original TV anime “Sayonara Lara,” set in Shiga Prefecture, will be held at the Kintetsu Department Store Kusatsu Branch starting September 30, 2026. Cell animations used in the production of the opening sequence, voice-over scripts for each episode, and life-size character standees will be on display—free of charge!

Kingdom Hearts 25th Anniversary Exhibition: Admission Tickets and Key Visual Revealed!

Details regarding admission tickets and the key visual for the “Kingdom Hearts” 25th Anniversary Exhibition, set to take place in Roppongi starting February 5, 2027, have been unveiled. The earliest priority lottery for tickets that include merchandise begins on October 8, while general advance ticket sales start on December 3. All attendees will receive a special gift!

“Detroit Metal City” Original Art Exhibition in Gotanda Opens October 1!

An exhibition of original artwork commemorating the 20th anniversary of the serialization of Kiminori Wakasugi’s death metal comedy manga *Detroit Metal City* will be held at the EDITION88 flagship store in Gotanda from October 1 to October 25, 2026. The exhibition will feature color cover illustrations from Volumes 1 through 10 of the collected editions, as well as storyboards for the all-new “prequel episode” created exclusively for the Complete Edition. “88 Graph” prints and original merchandise will also be available for purchase.

“Made in Abyss” Manga Exhibition at Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store Starts October 24!

To commemorate the release of the “Theater Series [Part 1]: Made in Abyss: The Awakening Mystery,” the first-ever exhibition of reproductions of original artwork from the source manga will be held at the Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store Book Hall starting October 24, 2026. Visitors will receive one of five replica tickets featuring characters such as Riko and Nanachi on a first-come, first-served basis!

Our “Aliens Exhibition” at Shinjuku Marui Annex Opens September 25!

An exhibition tracing the production history of the feature-length animated film *We Are Aliens* will be held at Shinjuku Marui Annex starting on September 25, 2026, the film’s opening day. Admission is free, and in addition to original artwork, storyboards, and a recreation of the production set, the exhibition will feature 13 exclusive items available only at the venue!

Hiroko Natsuno Exhibition in Yurakucho / Kyoto—Opening Sequentially Starting November 28!

An exhibition of original artwork by Hiroko Natsuno, titled “Hiroko Natsuno Exhibition,” will be held at Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo starting November 28, 2026. The exhibition will feature original artwork spanning 10 years from three works—*25:00, in Akasaka*, *A Love That Knows No Winter*, and *About an Arab Song*—all of which have been adapted into TV dramas. It will also be held in Kyoto starting January 8, 2027!

The “BLACK LAGOON 25th Anniversary Original Art Exhibition,” commemorating the 25th anniversary of Rei Hiroe’s manga series “BLACK LAGOON,” will be held at the Sunshine 60 Observatory in Ikebukuro from Friday, November 13, 2026, through Sunday, December 6, 2026. Sakura Wars 30th Anniversary Exhibition in Tokyo and Kyoto—Opening Sequentially Starting October 31!

The “Sakura Wars 30th Anniversary Exhibition: Dreams Are Revived,” commemorating a milestone in the series that began with the first installment in 1996, has been announced. The exhibition will be held at Yurakucho Marui starting October 31, 2026, and at Space Galleria KYOTO starting December 4. A mini autograph card will be given as an admission gift!

“Panda Kopanda” Exhibition at Nagoya PARCO Starts December 12!

An interactive exhibition featuring the animated masterpiece *Panda! Panda!* by Isao Takahata and Hayao Miyazaki will be held at PARCO HALL on the 8th floor of the West Wing of Nagoya PARCO from December 12, 2026, through January 31, 2027. The exhibition will feature an area recreating the dining room in Mimiko’s house and a photo spot inspired by the “Rainy Day Circus.” Advance tickets are currently on sale for 1,400 yen (tax included) for general admission.

“Pokémon Art & Environmental Education Exhibition” in Yaesu Opens September 18!

The “Pokémon and Art: Environmental Education Exhibition in Yaesu,” featuring Pokémon art created by students at Tama Art University from unwanted items and scrap materials, will be held from September 18 to September 27, 2026, in the Atrium on the first floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu. In addition to a display of 53 Pokémon figures, the exhibition will feature works made from marine plastic waste and highlight related initiatives. Admission is free.

UO 10th Anniversary Exhibition: UO10. in Yurakucho—Opens December 19!

“UO10.”, an exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of manga artist Uotoyo’s debut, will be held at the YURAKUCHO MUSEUM (Yurakucho, Tokyo) from December 19, 2026, to February 23, 2027. In addition to exhibits tracing the artist’s creative journey through original artwork and storyboards, a replica of Uotoyo’s studio will be set up at the venue, allowing visitors to witness the artist creating a new serialized manga in real time.

“Honey Lemon Soda” Series Finale Exhibition at Seibu Shibuya: A Report from the Event!

The “Honey Lemon Soda: Series Finale Exhibition,” commemorating the conclusion of Mayu Murata’s coming-of-age love story, has opened at the event space on the 4th floor of Building B at the Seibu Shibuya Store. We’re reporting live from the venue—where interactive exhibits across seven zones, reproductions of original artwork, and limited-edition merchandise are on display—as the popular event continues through Wednesday, September 30!

KAWAII LAB. Costume Exhibition Opens at Daimaru Kobe on October 28!

KAWAII LAB.’s costume exhibition, “KAWAII CLOSET,” will be held from October 28 to November 10, 2026, at the Daimaru Museum on the 9th floor of the Daimaru Kobe Store. In addition to 154 costumes actually worn by a total of 38 members from five groups—including FRUITS ZIPPER and CANDY TUNE—during live performances and music videos, the exhibition will also feature design sketches and handwritten messages.

“Ashita no Joe” Art Tour to Kick Off on September 25 and Travel to Five Cities!

A traveling exhibition of metal canvas art from the anime *Ashita no Joe* will be held in five cities—starting in Osaka on September 25, 2026—and will subsequently move to Tokyo, Yokohama, Fukuoka, and Nagoya. In addition to viewing works rendered in three dimensions with up to 32 layers, visitors will be able to purchase items on-site at the exhibition sale, which will also feature venue-exclusive merchandise.

“The ‘Yakuza’ Series 20th Anniversary Major Exhibition Event, ‘Weddings, Funerals, and Gifts Exhibition -Extreme-,’ will return to YOKOHAMA COAST in Yokohama starting November 6, 2026. A new “Gift” area—replacing the previous “Funeral” area—will make its debut, along with a “Coming-of-Age” themed “Crown” package!

“The Wolf and the Spice” 20th Anniversary Exhibition: Tokyo through September 13 / Osaka starting September 26!

The “Spice and Wolf 20th Anniversary Exhibition,” commemorating the 20th anniversary of Toisa Hasekura’s light novel *Spice and Wolf*, is currently on display at Tokyo Fuji University in Tokyo through September 13. The exhibition features newly drawn illustrations by Shiki as well as illustrations from throughout the series’ history, and will also open at Seaside Studio CASO in Osaka on September 26!
