“Natsume’s Book of Friends” Birthday After-Party Fair at Animate Starts November 21!

Based on the TV anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends,” originally created by Yuki Midorikawa, the “Shuichi Natori & Seiji Matoba Birthday After-Party Fair 2026” will be held from November 21 to December 20, 2026, at Animate stores nationwide and through the Animate online store! During the event period, customers will receive one bromide (out of a total of three varieties) based on the total amount spent on purchases or pre-orders of related merchandise. Additionally, on November 21, Movic will release Nyanko-sensei merchandise, as well as formal-style clear files, acrylic stands, stickers, and a character badge collection.

The pop-up store for the anime *Natsume’s Book of Friends*, based on the original work by Yuki Midorikawa, titled “*Natsume’s Book of Friends POP UP STORE in Loft: Act IV*,” will be held for a limited time starting December 11, 2026, at select Loft locations! A new, original illustration based on the concept of “napping” has been unveiled, and details regarding participating stores and merchandise will be announced at a later date.

“Natsume’s Book of Friends POP UP SHOP in TOWER RECORDS” is set to take place in November 2026 at select Tower Records locations! Newly drawn illustrations featuring characters in “artist”-themed outfits have been unveiled, and details such as participating stores, dates, and merchandise will be announced at a later date.

The TV Anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends” Animate Fair Will Be Held on September 12, 2026!

The TV Anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends” Animate Fair 2026 will be held from Saturday, September 12, 2026, through Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Animate stores nationwide and on the Animate online store. Newly drawn merchandise based on the “exorcist” theme—including trading pin badges, illustration cards, and acrylic stands—will be available for pre-release purchase. For every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on character goods, customers will receive a fair purchase bonus: a set of “postcards” (6 varieties total).

“After Midnight Skin” Collaboration Café Opens September 25!

A collaboration café based on Hiro Nimuma’s *After Midnight Skin* will be held at the emo cafe Harajuku location from Friday, September 25, 2026, through Monday, October 12, 2026 (a national holiday). An illustration created exclusively for the café has been unveiled, and the menu and special offers will be announced at a later date!
