New merchandise featuring original illustrations based on the “Black Coord” concept will be available for pre-sale, and a special fair promotion will offer a “film-style illustration card” with every 1,100 yen (tax included) spent on related merchandise.

Cheer Screening” of *Chikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island*—featuring automated penlight effects—will be held for three consecutive days from October 16 to 18, 2026, at seven TOHO Cinemas locations across five prefectures nationwide. This is a screening where audience members can cheer along using special glow sticks that change color in sync with the film. It is an expansion of the “Glow Stick Cheer Screening,” which was held just once on September 23, to a three-day event.
