My Happy Marriage: The Goshuin Stamps from the Shrine Collaboration Feature Different Designs at Each of the Four Shrines
The Goshuin costs 1,200 yen as an offering. The design features Seika in a haori and hakama and Miyo in a kimono on the left and right, respectively, with the name of each shrine and the Goshuin stamp in the center.
Since the shrine name section varies by shrine, you must visit all four shrines to collect all four types. With two in Tokyo, one in Osaka, and one in Kyoto—all located far apart—you’ll need to plan your trip carefully.
Kamimeguro Hikawa Shrine (Meguro Ward, Tokyo)
It is said that this shrine originated during the Tenshō era (around 1573), when the Kato family—vassals of Takeda Shingen—brought the local guardian deity of Uenohara in Koshu to this site. The deity has long been revered as a protector against flooding of the Meguro River and epidemics, and in 2023, the shrine .
Shichisha Shrine (Kita Ward, Tokyo)

This shrine enshrines seven deities and is depicted as “Nanano-yashiro” in the *Edo Meisho Zue* (Illustrated Guide to Famous Places in Edo). After Eiichi Shibusawa established his Asukayama residence in Nishigahara Village in Meiji 12, he became a parishioner of Nanaya-sha Shrine, and in Taisho 9, the shrine office was constructed through donations from various individuals, led by him.
Abe-Oji Shrine (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture)
This shrine is said to have been founded by Emperor Nintoku, though one theory suggests it was established by the ancient Abe clan, a powerful regional family. As one of the “Kumano 99 Prince Shrines” established along the Kumano pilgrimage route, it has long been revered by pilgrims. Today, it is the only Prince Shrine in Osaka Prefecture that still stands on its original site.
Nashiki Shrine (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture)
This shrine, founded in Meiji 18, is located east of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. Within the grounds, “Somei”—one of Kyoto’s three famous springs—wells up, and the shrine is also known as a famous spot for hagi (bush clover), earning it the nickname “Hagi no Miya” (Hagi Shrine). The sacred tree, known as the “Tree of Love” for its heart-shaped leaves, is believed to bring good fortune in matchmaking and is a popular venue for Shinto wedding ceremonies.
