A limited-time “POP UP STORE” has been announced for the TV anime “Atelier of the Pointed Hat,” based on the popular fantasy manga by Shirahama O.
Kicking off at Kichijoji Loft on Saturday, September 5, 2026, the tour will visit six Loft locations nationwide—Hiroshima, Namba, Sakae, Kyoto, and Sendai. The tour will run for approximately three and a half months, concluding at Sendai Loft on Monday, December 14.
Newly drawn illustrations with a “Pajama Party” theme have been released!
The theme of this POP UP STORE is “Pajama Party.” An original illustration featuring the Atelier crew gathered in their respective loungewear against a backdrop of a starry night sky has been unveiled.
Coco clutching a stuffed animal, Agathe wearing a hood with rabbit ears, Riche holding a penguin plushie, and Tetia rubbing her sleepy eyes—the four apprentices appear in their own unique, relaxed styles. Additionally, the illustration features the two adult members—Keyfree holding a mug and a book, and Orugio letting out a yawn—capturing the atmosphere of the “Atelier at Night,” a scene rarely seen in the main story.

[September] Kichijoji Loft and Hiroshima Loft
Kichijoji Loft kicks things off with an event held in the Variety Goods Section on the 2nd floor from Saturday, September 5, 2026, through Thursday, September 24, 2026. Next, Hiroshima Loft will host the event from Friday, September 11, through Tuesday, September 29, at “Loft Market” on the 5th floor of Aqua Hiroshima Center Street. The event periods at both stores will overlap for about two weeks.
Please note that closing times on the final day vary by store: Kichijoji Loft closes at 5:00 PM, while Hiroshima Loft closes at 4:00 PM—one hour earlier than Kichijoji Loft.
[October] Namba Loft & Sakae Loft
In October, the event will be held at two venues in the Kansai and Tokai regions. Namba Loft will start on Friday, October 9, and Sakae Loft will start the following day, Saturday, October 10—a one-day difference—with both events ending on Wednesday, October 28 (Wed). The Namba Loft event will be held in the variety goods section on the 5th floor of Namba Parks, while the Sakae Loft event will be held in the variety goods section.
[November–December] Kyoto Loft and Sendai Loft
The second half of the tour features Kyoto Loft and Sendai Loft. Kyoto Loft will be open from Saturday, November 7 (Sat) through November 24 (Tue); on the final day, it closes at 6:00 PM—the latest closing time among the six stores.
Finally, Sendai Loft, which wraps up the tour, will be held from November 19 (Thu) through December 14 (Mon) in the Variety Goods section on the 3rd floor. With a run of about four weeks, this is the longest exhibition among the six locations.
What Is “The Pointy Hat Atelier”?
“The Atelier of the Pointed Hat” is a fantasy manga currently serialized in Kodansha’s “Monthly Morning Two” by Shirahama O. It is a coming-of-age story about Coco, a girl who dreams of becoming a wizard. She is taken in as an apprentice by the wizard Keyfree at his atelier, where she and her friends experience both the light and darkness of the magical world.
It has won numerous manga awards both in Japan and abroad, and its cumulative circulation has exceeded 9 million copies. A TV anime produced by BUG FILMS will begin airing in April 2026, and the production of a second season was announced in June of the same year.
