A collaboration café is being held to celebrate the announcement of the production of the 4th Season (Final Season) of the TV anime “My Favorite Child.” The event runs from Saturday, September 5, 2026 (Sat) through October 18 (Sun), and the venue is the Nakasa restaurant in Arima Onsen.

The promotional visual features Kana Arima welcoming guests in front of the restaurant’s noren curtain, accompanied by the tagline “Welcome to Nakasa☆! !” and depicts Kana Arima welcoming customers in front of the restaurant’s noren curtain. Aqua’s Star-Infused Chicken Tempura Curry Udon

1,550 yen (tax included). This curry udon features chicken tempura with a bluish batter, garnished with star-shaped carrots inspired by the stars in Aqua’s eyes.

Ruby’s Innocent Pink Sauce Katsudon

Participating Stores for the “My Favorite Child” Collaboration Cafe Shopping Rally

A shopping rally will also be held as you walk around the town of Arima Onsen. This event allows you to receive an original card when you purchase eligible items at participating stores. Since the card designs vary by store , so you’ll need to visit multiple stores to collect them all.

There are six participating stores.

How to Choose a Day to Visit All 6 Stores

Since each store has different regular closing days, you’ll need to check the days of the week if you plan to visit all of them in a single day. Kawakami Shoten Main Store is closed on Wednesdays, hetekara on Thursdays, and Yuya no Yado Yasutaka on Mondays and Tuesdays. All six shops are open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

There are also time restrictions. Yusen Shrine is open until 4:00 PM, and Kamidaibo opens at 2:00 PM, so if you plan to visit both on the same day, you’ll need to visit them between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Since Kamidaibo has irregular closing days, you’ll need to call before visiting. Additionally, since the services offered at Yuya no Yado Yasutaka and Kamidaibo are limited to day-use bathing, you’ll need to come prepared for a bath.

The visit duration is limited to an 80-minute rotation system only when numbered tickets are distributed . If numbered tickets are not being distributed, the estimated stay is approximately 2 hours.

Numbered tickets will be distributed only if the number of visitors exceeds the daily capacity. They are scheduled to be distributed from 9:00 to approximately 9:30, though the time may vary depending on conditions on the day. If they are distributed after the store opens at 10:00, please speak to a staff member inside the store.

Important Notes on Numbered Tickets

1. One ticket will be issued per person.
2. Numbered tickets cannot be reissued if lost or damaged.
3. Numbered tickets are valid only for the entry time printed on them.
4. If you arrive late for your entry time, you may have to wait or may not be admitted, depending on the situation.
5. Transferring or reselling numbered tickets is prohibited.
6. You cannot specify your entry time when the tickets are distributed.
7. The number of tickets distributed is determined by the number of people we can accommodate on that day, and distribution will end once the allotted number is reached.
8. Out of consideration for the neighborhood, waiting in line early in the morning or reserving spots are not permitted.

Nakasa Restaurant is located in the Arima Onsen hot spring district and has been serving customers in this area for over 50 years. It is renowned for its soba and udon noodles, made with a carefully crafted broth, and also serves coffee and desserts, making it a great spot to stop for a break. The restaurant selects buckwheat flour from different regions , which is stone-ground and hand-kneaded on the same day. The menu also features Kobe beef—a specialty of Hyogo Prefecture—as well as Arima Sansho (a local brand of Japanese pepper from Arima Onsen) and “Black Tea Duck,” raised on feed supplemented with black tea leaves.

There is no on-site parking, so if you’re driving, you’ll need to use a nearby parking lot.
