How adorable! A hands-on pop-up shop themed around “CANDY PANICHU!,” a brand-new illustration featuring the popular character “Panichu Rabbit” created by the artist, is coming soon!

Poor thing! A popular character created by Sensei that originated on social media “Panichu Rabbit,” an experience-based pop-up shop themed around the newly drawn illustration “CANDY PANICHU!” will be held at LaLaport Ebina from Monday, September 14, 2026, through Friday, September 25, 2026.

This event marks the return of the “CANDY PANICHU!” pop-up shop, which previously toured Tokyo, Osaka, and South Korea, and will feature original merchandise for sale within a playful, candy-factory-themed setting. The venue is in front of GU on the 3rd floor of LaLaport Ebina, and operating hours will follow the mall’s regular hours (closing at 6:00 PM on the final day).

At the venue, original merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations will be on sale, depicting Panichu the Rabbit working at a candy factory in a vibrant, pop art style.

In addition to embroidered mini tote bags, pouches, and drawstring bags, the collection features a wide selection of bags, including eco-bags and tote bags with storage pouches.

Opanchu Rabbit Costume Event (Greeting & Photo Session)

On Monday, September 21 (a national holiday), there will be a meet-and-greet and photo session featuring the Opanchu Rabbit mascot.

The greeting session will take place from 11:00 to 11:20 on the 3rd floor of LaLaport Ebina, and the photo sessions will be held twice—at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM—in front of LaLaport CLOSET on the 4th floor.

How to Participate in the Photo Session

Starting at 9:30 AM on Monday, September 21 (holiday), numbered tickets for all time slots will be distributed at the Plaza Entrance (outdoors).

When numbered tickets are distributed, receipts totaling 1,000 yen or more (tax included; combined receipts accepted) from the LaLaport Ebina “Opanchu Sagi” Pop-Up Shop during the event period will be verified; numbered tickets will also be distributed based on receipts from purchases made on the same day.

Receipts will also be checked at the photo session venue, so you must bring yours with you; you may only participate in the photo session if you have a numbered ticket for the corresponding time slot. Please note that attendees must bring their own cameras.
