A special collaboration lunch between *Rantaro, the Failed Ninja*—created by Amagasaki-born artist “Amago Soubei”—and the Tokyo Hotel Amagasaki has been announced. This marks the hotel’s first-ever collaboration of this kind.

From Friday, October 2, 2026, through Tuesday, March 30, 2027, the special set meal “The Canteen Lady’s Special” will be available at Tsukunii, the Japanese restaurant on the hotel’s 21st floor!

Details of the “Failed Ninja Rantaro” Collaboration Lunch

The author, Mr. Amako Sōbei, is a native of Amagasaki City, and many of the character names in the series are derived from place names within the city.

Here in Amagasaki—the city closely associated with the series—we’re introducing a special set meal called “The Cafeteria Lady’s Special,” inspired by the characters and the food featured in the story!

Special Set Meal: “The Canteen Lady’s Special”

From small side dishes to rice balls, soup, and snacks—all arranged on a single tray—it’s truly a spread you’ll want to call “okondate.”

It also incorporates local ingredients, such as komatsuna from Amagasaki.

Choose one main dish from four options

For the main dish of the set meal, you can choose from four options, ranging from simmered fish (Sugun Meshi) to a tempura assortment.

Only the “Canteen Lady’s Special,” which features grilled beef, is available for an additional 650 yen.

Guests who order the collaboration lunch will receive original “Rakudai Ninja Rantaro” merchandise exclusive to the Miyako Hotel Amagasaki.
