Ichiban Kuji: Natsume’s Book of Friends – Original Illustration: A Cozy Winter Moment
Ahead of the prize lineup announcement, an illustration created exclusively for this lottery has been revealed. From playing outside on a snowy day to spending cozy time indoors, this illustration captures a full day in Nyanko-sensei’s winter life.

At the very top, a lively scene of snow play is depicted: one-eyed and ox-faced mid-level yokai peek out from behind a snow-covered hedge, while Nyanko-sensei—wearing a yellow scarf—throws snowballs at them. Below that, two snowmen that look just like Nyanko-sensei—wearing red and black scarves—stand side by side, while Madara and Misaki, decorated with leaves and nuts, are lying on the ground.
In addition to the Cat Teacher—who appears in the key visual—shivering in a cat-eared hood, and the Cat Teacher wearing a haori and taking a relaxing break with a mug of hot drink, there’s also the Cat Teacher stretching out and eating mochi. You can enjoy plenty of Nyanko-sensei’s laid-back expressions—perfect for cold days—such as him lying down tangled up in a ball of yarn, curling up and sleeping soundly inside an earthenware pot, or peeking out from under a polka-dot kotatsu blanket with a dreamy look on his face.
On this site, we also feature the Relaxed Collection, where you can enjoy Nyanko-sensei’s laid-back moments.
