The “Original Novel POP-UP STORE” for the novel *The Apothecary’s Soliloquy*—written by Natsuki Hyuga and illustrated by Toko Shino—will be held sequentially at bookstores nationwide starting October 16, 2026.

In addition to the items sold at the “The Apothecary’s Soliloquy Original Novel Exhibition: Poison and Medicine, Science and Mystery,” new products exclusive to this POP UP STORE will also be available! The event is organized by Tohan Corporation.

Three major venues will feature high-resolution illustration exhibits and photo spots

At the three venues—Meibundo Bookstore TSUTAYA Lake Town (Kanto venue), Maruzen Nagoya Main Store (Nagoya venue), and Asahiya Bookstore Namba CITY Store (Kansai venue)—in addition to merchandise, high-resolution illustration exhibits and photo spots featuring standee panels will be available.

The event runs from October 16 to November 15 at Meibundo Bookstore TSUTAYA Lake Town and Asahiya Bookstore Namba CITY; only Maruzen Nagoya Main Store will run until November 22.

Business hours are 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Meibundo Bookstore TSUTAYA Lake Town and Maruzen Nagoya Main Store, and 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Asahiya Bookstore Namba CITY.

Pop-up events are also being held at 29 stores nationwide

In addition to the three major venues, pop-up events will also be held at 29 stores nationwide. These stores will not feature high-resolution illustration displays or photo spots. Since the event dates vary by store, please check the list below.

In addition, some stores will carry a selection of the POP UP merchandise, which will be rolled out sequentially starting October 16.

Many items sold at the original novel exhibition are also available!

The lineup features a wide selection of items carefully chosen from those sold at the “Novel ‘The Apothecary’s Soliloquy’ Original Exhibition: Poison and Medicine, Science and Mystery.”

Featured items include the “BIG Acrylic Stand” (3,300 yen, tax included), a large decorative piece standing approximately 25 cm tall, and a set of two “Plush Toys” (4,950 yen each, tax included), each approximately 20 cm long, featuring Momo and Ninji.

New clear file and acrylic diorama items are now available!

As new items for this pop-up store, clear files featuring illustrations from the original work—which were well-received at the exhibition—are now available with new designs based on Volumes 5 and 6! Each costs 660 yen (tax included), and the reverse side features a common design.

Also available are “acrylic dioramas” featuring the cover designs from Volumes 2 and 5! Quotes from each volume are incorporated into the designs, and the price is 2,970 yen (tax included).

Purchasers will receive illustration cards (2 designs total)

As a purchase bonus, customers will receive one “illustration card” (2 designs total) for every purchase of 3,000 yen or more (including tax).

A maximum of two cards per transaction is allowed, and customers cannot choose the design. This offer ends when supplies run out, and the bonus items are the same at all participating stores.
