To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the serialization of Osamu Akimoto’s popular manga *Here’s the Katsushika Ward Kameari Park Police Box* (*Kochikame*), Hakoniwa Giken will release high-definition, full-color 3D-printed “figreal” figures of the series’ characters in September 2026.

The series will be available in three scales—1/64, 1/80, and 1/150—with a total of 50 varieties featuring a rich array of designs!

The lineup comprehensively covers a wide range of characters, from Kankichi Ryotsu’s diverse expressions to police box members like Keiichi Nakagawa and Chief Ohara, as well as unique characters from the Special Crimes Unit such as Gigōshu Lemon, Denki-kyu+, Detective Gekkō, and Detective Binasu.

By combining them with dioramas, miniature cars, and model trains (N-gauge and HO-gauge), you can freely recreate the world of the series right on your desk.

Kochikame: Everyday Life in Katsushika Recreated in 1/150–1/64 Scale—Character Figure Lineup

When you imagine a combination of “Kochikame” and “3D figures,” the story that comes to mind is this: Ryōsan—who is also a top-tier figure sculptor in the series—creates 3D data and begins secretly manufacturing and mass-producing figures in the basement of the police box.
He’d drag Nakagawa and Honda into the side hustle, planning to make a fortune by turning not just Reiko figures but even ordinary people into 3D models—ultimately making Chief Ohara absolutely furious… While you might imagine such a wild story, this is actually an official product from Hakoniwa Giken, a company specializing in dioramas.

The “figreal” miniature figures from “Kochikame,” released by Hakoniwa Giken, use high-resolution, full-color 3D printing technology to realistically render even the finest details of the characters’ costumes, facial expressions, and props.

Three sales formats are available to suit different uses and scales.

1/64 scale (single piece): Approx. 25.3 mm / For miniature cars / 50 varieties total; 1,320 yen each (tax included).

1/80 scale (set of 2): Approx. 20.2 mm / For HO gauge / 25 varieties total (A001–A025); 1,650 yen each (tax included).

1/150 scale (set of 5): Approx. 10.8 mm / For N gauge / 10 varieties total (A001–A010), 1,980 yen each (tax included).

Please note that since these products are 3D-printed, there are specific considerations to keep in mind: as the scale decreases, the level of detail may be relatively lower; there may be layer lines from the manufacturing process; color variations may occur between production lots; there may be slight warping due to temperature changes; and some parts have delicate structures that are prone to breakage.
