A pop-up shop for Amamori-sensei’s role-reversal BL manga *My Boyfriend’s Love Is Too Overwhelming* is opening!

The event will be held at MEDICOS SHOP Shibuya in Tokyo starting Friday, August 28, 2026, and at CAFE EPIC TALE in Osaka starting Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of the characters in tracksuit maid outfits, as well as bonus mini photo cards, will be available.

Details of the “My Boyfriend’s Love Is Too Overwhelming” Pop-Up Shop

A pop-up shop for the role-reversal BL manga “My Boyfriend’s Love Is Too Overwhelming,” created by Amamori, will be held at two venues in Tokyo and Osaka. The Tokyo venue will be at MEDICOS SHOP Shibuya from Friday, August 28, 2026, to Thursday, September 10, 2026, while the Osaka venue will be held at CAFE EPIC TALE from Wednesday, October 7, 2026, through Sunday, October 25, (Sun).

Newly drawn illustrations by Amamori have been created exclusively for this event. Images of Mizuki Yaeno and Makoto Uzuki dressed in tracksuit maid outfits will adorn merchandise and venue decorations.

At the Tokyo venue, life-size panels featuring newly drawn illustrations will be on display, and a venue-exclusive gift campaign will be held. At the Osaka venue, in addition to merchandise sales, takeout drinks will also be available.

New merchandise featuring original illustrations of the characters in their jersey maid outfits will be on sale at the event. The lineup ranges from large items like acrylic stands and acrylic dioramas to collectible goods sold in blind boxes!

BIG Acrylic Stands, Acrylic Dioramas, and More

There are two types of newly illustrated BIG acrylic stands that let you enjoy the character art in a larger format. The acrylic diorama featuring Masato Uzuki forming a heart and Mizuki Yaeno grabbing his sleeve is a build-it-yourself piece that can be displayed in 3D. An illustration card set and a sticker set are also now available!

Collectible goods such as pin badges and photo cards

A blind collection featuring four types of items—including lunch tote bags with mini-character designs, wobbling mini-character acrylic blocks, pin badges, photo cards, clear cards, and acrylic coasters—is now available! Each box is designed so that you can collect the entire set as long as it remains unopened.

[Tokyo Venue Only] Gift Campaign

To commemorate the POP UP SHOP event at the Tokyo venue, we are holding a gift campaign exclusively for attendees who make a purchase on-site. A total of 9 winners will be selected via lottery to receive life-size panels on display or autographed merchandise.

To participate, receive one entry ticket for every 5,000 yen (tax included) spent on related merchandise at the venue during the campaign period. If you spend a total of 10,000 yen (tax included) on merchandise, you will receive two entry tickets; receipts cannot be combined. The entry period runs from Friday, August 28, 2026, through Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Winners will be notified via shipment of the prize.

*As this is a venue-exclusive campaign, items ordered via online store or purchased after the event are not eligible. *Entry is limited to residents of Japan. *Under no circumstances may these prizes be resold for profit or transferred to others.

Shuffled lottery admission will be held on the first day, August 28

To alleviate crowding at the Tokyo venue, a shuffled lottery admission system will be implemented on the first day, Friday, August 28, 2026. Admission tickets will be distributed from 10: 00–10:10 in front of MEDICOS SHOP Shibuya (MAGNET by SHIBUYA109, 5F). The order of entry will be announced around 10:30 via X “MEDICOS Entertainment_General.” The entry time for the first group is 10:45.

Since admission is not on a first-come, first-served basis, it has been announced that there is no benefit to lining up before the numbered ticket distribution time. Each numbered ticket allows for one entry and one transaction, and the ticket will be collected at the time of payment. Once all visitors with numbered tickets have entered, admission will switch to a first-come, first-served basis.

*Admission may be limited even on dates other than those listed above. *Depending on crowd conditions on the day, numbered tickets may be distributed near the stairs on the 5th floor. *Visitors are asked to refrain from coming to the venue in cosplay or attire that could be perceived as cosplay.

CAFE EPIC TALE in Osaka is also offering a takeout collaboration

The event will be held at the Osaka venue, CAFE EPIC TALE (1st floor, Nipponbashi Exe Residence Tower), from Wednesday, October 7, 2026, through Sunday, October 25, 2026. Opening hours are from 12:00 to 7:30 PM, and in addition to merchandise sales, takeout drinks will be available.

The detailed menu for the takeout collaboration will be announced at a later date.
