Synopsis of the TV Anime “Hotaru’s Wedding”

The story is set in an era when women were treated as family property. The protagonist is Satoko Kirigaya, the daughter of a count, is the protagonist. Her dream was to marry into a distinguished family and become her father’s pride.
However, one night, Satoko is abducted as part of someone’s scheme. The one who happened to be present in that desperate situation was Shinpei Goto, a hitman covered head to toe in splattered blood. As the only way to survive, Satoko blurted out a lie on the spot: “Let’s get married. If you’re with me, you’ll have everything.”
Hearing this, Shinpei replied, “I might be a little overbearing when it comes to love, but I’ll make you happy,” and placed his blood-soaked hand over Satoko’s. Torn between her mission and her feelings for Shinpei, Satoko, torn between her mission and her feelings for Shinpei. The story depicts a form of love that is both single-minded and forbidden.

Satoko Kirigaya (CV: Lynn)

The daughter of the Kirigaya family, a noble house. Having lost her mother, she now lives with her father, stepmother, and half-sister—a family of four. She is frail, and doctors have told her she won’t live long.
She dreams of marrying into a distinguished family to protect the Kirigaya estate for the sake of her beloved father, and is a hard worker dedicated to acquiring the education necessary for marriage. She is a character who also possesses a hidden inner strength. Lynn, who voices her, has played roles such as Koiyuki in *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle, Chapter 1: The Return of Gyokko*, and Miorine Rembrandt in *Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury*.

Shinpei Goto (CV: Koki Uchiyama)

A young man born on Tennyo Island who makes a living as an assassin. He is commissioned by Mie to kill Satoko. While he is devoted to those he cares for, he is also intensely jealous.
His voice actor, Koki Uchiyama, is known for roles such as Shigeki Shigaraki in “My Hero Academia” and Hotaru Tsukishima in “Haikyū!!”.

Kotaro Ogawa (Voiced by: Kento Ito)

Satoko’s childhood friend and bodyguard. He supports Satoko’s dreams. He was announced as an additional cast member alongside the second teaser PV.

Mie (Voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda)

A yakuza from Amagashima who was hired by an unknown party to kidnap Satoko. He’ll stop at nothing for money, but he also has a warm-hearted side. He was also announced as an additional cast member alongside the second teaser PV.

Staff of the TV Anime “Hotaru no Yomeiri”

The director is Takahiro Kamei, known for works such as *Urusei Yatsura* and *JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind*.
