From November 27 to December 20, 2026, Gundam Base exclusive items, event-limited Gunpla kits, merchandise, and snacks will be on sale at the 5th-floor event hall. Additionally, on December 5 and 6, the “Gundam R (Recycle) Operation” will take place, featuring free distribution of Eco-Pla experience kits.

Details on “THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP in NAGANO”
“THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP in NAGANO,” a limited-time pop-up event packed with all the appeal of the Gunpla complex “THE GUNDAM BASE,” will be held from November 27 to December 20, 2026, at the Event Hall on the 5th floor of Nagano Tokyu Department Store. This marks the first time the event has been held in Nagano in four years, and admission is free.
In addition to Gundam-related merchandise such as Gunpla, accessories, and snacks, the venue will feature a wide selection of items exclusive to Gundam Base, as well as limited-edition merchandise.
The shop area will use a digital ticket system
To help manage crowds, a digital ticket system based on the LINE app—operating on a first-come, first-served basis—will be implemented for entry into the shop area. Details regarding the tickets will be announced at a later date.
Hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (last admission at 6:30 p.m.), except on the final day, December 20, when hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last admission at 4:30 p.m.). Operating hours are subject to change due to crowd conditions, weather, or facility preparations.
Preview Exhibition of Two New Gunpla Models
At the venue, the “HG Gundam ZERO” from *Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX (Alex)-ZERO* and the “HG Gundam Helix” from the all-new action game *GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT* are scheduled to be on display ahead of their official release.
“Gundam R (Recycle) Operation” to Be Held on December 5 and 6
The “Gundam R (Recycle) Operation” will be held for two days, December 5 and 6, at the event space on the 5th floor of Nagano Tokyu Department Store. Free “Eco-Plastic” trial kits—produced by recycling collected runner scraps—will be distributed. By placing the runner scraps in a collection box after assembly, participants can experience the plastic recycling process firsthand.
Participation Requirements and Important Notes
Participation is free and open to those 18 years old and younger (children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Those 19 years of age or older must bring their own runner to be eligible; they cannot participate in the model-building workshop at the plastic model-building experience area.
Eco-Pla kits are distributed to those who complete the survey; no personal information registration is required. Participation is limited to once per person, and since quantities are limited, you may not be able to receive one even if you wait in line. Because recycled materials are used, the color of each kit may vary.
Assembly takes approximately one hour (time may vary by individual). You can either take your Eco-Pla home or assemble it at the first-come, first-served model-building experience area. Only Gunpla sprues are eligible for collection, and you may also bring sprues from home. Bags for taking items home will not be provided at the venue.
Since the recommended age for plastic models is 6 years and older, children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and Eco-Pla distribution for children under 6 is limited to one set per child. Please check the official Gundam R Operation website for details.

Sales Rules and Facial Recognition System
Purchases in the merchandise area are limited to once per person per day. For Gunpla and certain other items, purchases are limited to one of each item per transaction, and the total number of Gunpla items purchased is capped at 15. Restrictions may also apply to non-Gunpla merchandise and other goods.
Items for sale are not eligible for Gunpla Points, and point-based rewards will not be available. Additionally, to ensure security and compliance with purchase rules, purchases will be verified via facial recognition using the terminal’s camera; if you do not consent to facial recognition, you may not be able to make a purchase.
