Gintama × Hagi City “Gintama Calendar” Starts October 1! Collaboration Food at 8 Restaurants

A “Tsukimi Burger” featuring kamaboko cutlet and tea soba cooked on roof tiles. Gintoki and the gang are becoming Hagi’s local specialties, debuting October 1!

A collaboration event between Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the TV anime “Gintama,” titled “Gintama Calendar: Sometimes It’s Good to Look Back,” will be held.

The event will run from October 1 to December 31, 2026, at various locations throughout Hagi City.

This event invites visitors to explore Hagi—home to historic sites associated with the patriots of the Meiji Restoration—alongside the anime series, with collaboration menu items available at eight restaurants throughout the city.

Collaboration lodging packages are available at four facilities, with panels and folding screens displayed in the guest rooms.

A birthday event celebrating Gintoki Sakata’s birthday on October 10 will also be held at the Hagi Meirin Gakusha.

The menu features dishes inspired by the local cuisine of Yamaguchi and Hagi, such as Kawara Soba, Itoko-ni, and Chicken-Chicken Burdock.
